Freshii — Restaurant in Whitchurch-Stouffville

The food is very tasty. I love the salads and bowls. The customer service is really good too. However, this location is SO STINGY with ingredients and portions. I regularly eat at Freshii all over the city and GTA. At this location, it is such a battle to get the bowl you paid for filled, I’ve just stoped going. I intentionally order (and pay for) extra base such as kale etc. I end up getting a salad with half the original base removed, and the other extra I paid for replacing the portion that should have been there. The bowls are always only half way filled, I always raise this with the owner or whoever is on staff and they will correct it by adding food, but honestly why do customers have to battle for a bowl they paid for to be filled? Also, hearing “we portion to the Freshii standards” is annoying because I’ve never had this issue at another location. At other locations, When I get my salad or bowl, it’s so full it is pressed against the lid. At this location, the top of the salads don’t even come close to touching the lid. They are so so so stingy with base and ingredients. This is so frustrating - at least I am not the only one with this feedback! Too bad the issue never...

Very Disappointing - I love this chain and eat here religiously. I spend approximately $100-$200 here per week, including the new Stouffville location. I went in this weekend to order my usual meal for myself, my wife and two smoothies for my kids (smoothies meals are free on weekends). The staff informed me that the owner will no longer provide smoothies for kids. I called the store three other stores and they all honor the weekend kids meal policy. The item was NOT removed from the menu and was just a decision by the owner. I gave them my business card so I could speak with the owner regarding this matter and he never followed up. I told them at my last visit that they lost me as a customer and I will travel to the Ajax location based on principle. Absolutely terrible service, will not be returning. As a regular customer for a long time, I'm incredibly disappointed with the service I received. I've always enjoyed Freshii, but my recent experience has completely changed my mind. An employee named Nasim was extremely aggressive and unprofessional. I simply asked to make a few minor changes to my salad. She started shouting at me, insisting I order a custom bowl instead, which would have cost more. When I didn't agree, she told me to get out of the store and said she wouldn't serve me anymore. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way. Thankfully, a different employee ended up making my order, and they were very nice. However, the initial interaction with Nasim was so bad that I won't be coming back.
