The worst service and order fulfillment I’ve ever encountered. I’m pregnant and crave Wendy’s regularly- I order from them off door dash very often and my order is WRONG 9/10 times. The people who work here obviously aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed because they can’t figure out how to give me the correct drink or make my order correctly. They constantly forget to put items in the order or just give you something that is completely wrong. I order a baked potato with chilli and sour cream added- they frequently include neither of these even though i pay for it and specifically ask for it. My partner and I order the same drink every time- it is regularly WRONG- today I got fruit punch and coke rather than the root beer and lemonade I order every time. I don’t know where these sick people get off on messing with people’s food orders but I’m pregnant and hungry and crying because I didn’t get half of my order and the lemonade I was craving is freakin fruit punch. I’m so sick of these people and the fact that they literally seem incapable of correctly filling an order. I work in the service industry and have since I was a teenager- in no establishments I have worked in would it be acceptable to get orders This wrong this often. I will not be going back here and will not be ordering from them again- while pregnant I have ordered here sometimes 2x a week and I can’t keep reaching out to DoorDash for refunds because the staff here is incompetent- I hope you’re management is happy you have lost a regular customer because of your carelessness and unwillingness to do your jobs properly. As a fellow service worker I’m disappointed and disgusted with the countless amounts of avoidable mistakes this staff makes. I’m disappointed- I’m sad- I’m hungry. I encourage management to reach out to me to make this right because I spend a large amount of money here every week and I won’t be coming back unless something seriously changes- im genuinely appalled at this lack of service. The store also needs to start answering their phone and empty their...
Read moreI have been to Wendy's a few times as they are close enough to me. I have been to Wendy's in Uxbridge and scarborough and I can tell you that the stouffville location is bad. I don't have a problem with the ambiance or the staff. I see people complaining about the staff but i can assure you that the folks are fine. To me, the issue is the management/ supervisors. The food is terrible and makes all the other fast food joints look good. The hot- holding temperatures are completely off and probably a cause for concern. I don't know how they pass inspection from internal corporate or externally. Fried chicken items are stored incorrectly for long because they are ALWAYS dried and warm. Burgers are ALWAYS cold and dried. Fries are okay and pop is fine but the bread is an atrocity - Stale and crumbly almost like wet sawdust. I just hope my kids don't ask for nuggets because i don't think I want any more Wendy's in town. They are not tough critics thankfully but I end up being the lucky or UNLUCKY one to get leftovers of what already seems like yesterday's leftovers. To the Wendy's management/ supervisors/ owners, if you want to retain whatever dwindling level of customers you have then.... please... please with the exception of your actual rushes do not hot hold any food (because your rushes do not support the turnover necessary to ensure fresh food to your customers) and hire the right number of staff for the rushes. I have only seen complaints for incorrect orders and cold food/...
Read moreI recently had a very disappointing experience at the Wendy's in Stouffville, primarily due to the behavior of the manager on duty, Shrey. The encounter was deeply unsettling. He was incredibly rude and confrontational, acting as though making the food was a chore or a favor he was begrudgingly granting. This attitude alone is a major issue in customer service, but it escalated to a far more serious level. When I raised a concern, his demeanor became even more aggressive and he became physically threatening, which is completely unacceptable and frankly, frightening. To make matters worse, after being confrontational, he retreated to the back and used his junior staff to do his bidding, refusing to engage further. This lack of accountability and his willingness to hide behind his employees is unprofessional and cowardly. Additionally, I observed him not wearing a hair net, which is a significant health and safety violation. This lack of adherence to basic hygiene protocols is concerning and reflects a broader disregard for the restaurant's standards. Overall, his conduct was unprofessional, rude, and threatening. It created an unsafe and unpleasant environment, completely ruining the experience. I believe this kind of behavior, particularly from a manager, should be addressed immediately.
