I did not have a good experience at this Tim Hortons. I’ve been there a few times and both times I didn’t have a good experience. The first time I arrived in Whitehorse and did not have any groceries so came here for breakfast It was on a Saturday morning around 11 AM. The place was packed. It was noisy. It was dirty, and there was nowhere to sit. The line of both the drive-through and inside was long. I waited in line inside for about 10 minutes. Once it was my turn, I ordered a double toasted whole wheat bagel with peanut butter. I specified that I wanted the bagel, double toasted, crispy and dark. I noticed that they charged me for peanut butter. I travel for a living so I go to a lot of Tim Hortons across Canada, and across the different provinces, and most Tim Hortons do charge extra for peanut butter but usually when you pay the $.50 you are given give you two packages. Two packages of peanut butter is the equivalent of one portion of peanut butter according to the Canada food guide, and those two packages are the equivalent of 2 tablespoons. Every single Tim Hortons across Canada for the last 20 years that I’ve been ordering this have given me two packages however, this Tim Hortons insisted that what I’m paying for is for one package. I started arguing with them that if they are charging me for peanut butter, they must give me a portion which is equivalent to two packages and they refused. During the argument, the cashier, who was a man in training, was rolling his eyes at me. Incredibly rude! I’m an extremely sweet and kind person, but at this point when I see a stranger roll eyes at me, it makes me angry. The other woman who tried to help me called Michelle was not being flexible either. To my defence I really don’t understand why butter on your bagel doesn’t cost anything but peanut butter does. Butter is more expensive than peanut butter so if you are paying for a bagel your toppings should be included. But my issue here or was that I was paying for my toppings and they were not giving me the stash give me. But my biggest problem is how rude and inflexible they were being with me. If I had a customer arguing for peanut butter, all I would do is just give them an extra Package instead of arguing with them. I have managed a Tim Horton in my youth. As a manager I would always want my customers to be happy. My customers were my business and I wanted them to come back. But these people really didn’t know a thing about customer service. They look like they were so miserable. They didn’t want to be there. Finally when my bagel was done , it wasn’t even toasted. I repeated five times that I wanted a black and crunchy bagel but the thing was like it was never even toasted. I didn’t want to go back and argue with them. They had already ruined my day. I tried to find somewhere to sit to have my breakfast, but there was nowhere so I stood and waited until someone got up. 10 minutes later or standing in my tea getting cold, a table became free and this table was all filthy and dirty. I did not see anyone cleaning the tables. Horrible Experience. I came back another time at this location and ordered just a coffee and I had the same poor customer service. This time it was in the evening and the place was empty. The tables were all disgusting and filthy. I used the bathroom and it was dirty and yucky. There was water all over the floor. After my second bad experience, I decided that from now on, I will only go to the Tim Horton down the road and my experience there was absolutely amazing. I will try to avoid this Tim Horton as much as I can. Dirty overcrowded, rude incompetent staff. Come on people. If a package of peanut butter is what makes your customer happy why can’t you just give it them? Considering the thousands of dollars I spend at Tim Hortons I think it’s a shame that a company has to act like that towards loyal customers. Date of incident: Saturday OCT 14/23 11am. Served by Michelle from Philippines and middle eastern man with...
Read moreDONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STARRRRRR.... i ordered on 09/15/2018 at 12:42 pm in store of $28.55, in which i had two jalapeno bagels with herb & garlic cream cheese. Out of which one didn't had enough herb and garlic cream cheese and just looked as they spread it like butter (same quantity) and not the right amount. so i went to the counter and ask about it to which they told me to talk to the manager. so i showed her the bagel and asked to get it fixed. to which she rudely replied saying- "that it was there and you ate it, so i am not going to do anything about it and then left without dealing with the situation". first of all, being so rude she didn't know how to do her job and second of all, she is accusing me of eating it and asking for extra. if thats what i wanted, why would i even bother ordering for around 30 bucks. i mean, this is ridiculous, being in that position she didn't even care for her way of talking to their everyday customers. and infact i don't think i am ever going back to that place. because she didn't cared at all. i guess she believes that as we don't have any other Tim Horton's in town, customer don't have any option to go at any other store and can treat whatever she wants. I know that it might not matter to you guys losing one customer but if it continues than it is going to impact badly to the business. i would love that if you take some steps and other customer don't have to go through...
Read moreTim hortons standard in food has fallen. The foods awful their was a time that I actually liked Tim Hortons food, I liked their crispy chicken sandwich with mayo, not the crispy chicken with whatever that new sauce they put on that makes it taste gross, their bowls they added are just the same as their two wraps which the rice can be closer compared to mush, their Buffalo chicken wrap is inedible, not because it's spicy but because the flavor of their sauce overpowers the rest of the wrap and all you taste is that awful sauce, their meat dip sandwich tastes mostly of salt and is also close in the level of the Buffalo chicken wrap in its inedibility. I miss their Chipotle cheddar chicken wrap which tasted quite good and now they have discontinued my favorite item on the menu which is the chilly cheese wedges and the only way to get something similar is to order the loaded chilly, which they added their gross rice to, and order the wedges separately, their drinks are okay, I still love their tea which is the reason this ain't a 1 star, their iced coffee is good which is saying something cause I usually don't like coffee but their other cold beverage drinks are too sweet I tried the peach drink and could only get a couple sips in cause I couldn't stand how sweet the drink was. Who ever is working o the menu at that place needs to try the...
