Kome Sushi Pickup — Restaurant in Williams Lake

If I wasn’t so excited to eat my sushi, I might have remembered to take a picture. This sushi is always so fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. Kome has become my go to for take out. The owners/staff are so warm and welcoming and really do go the extra mile for their guests. Every order I have placed has been top notch, quality food. The oshi that is prepared there is amazing; an epicurean delight. The sashimi is always super fresh and goes so well with the real wasabi. I have never been disappointed when trying something new and now their entire menu is my favourite dish. Williams Lake is lucky to have such talented individuals who care deeply about the entire meal experience. I was nervous when the pandemic started that Kome would not open, but they have reinvented themselves into an amazing take out business. You need to try it out! Online order, online payment, and you receive a text message or email when it’s ready for pickup. It is so good that I drive almost an hour each way to eat their food, (and I do it nearly every week). I don’t often review restaurants and feel like I could go on and on about how good it is; but you need to try it for yourself. You will not regret it! And...if you don’t like what you ordered...I will finish it for you. Great...

The food at Kome Sushi is comparable to the best sushi establishments I've come across in Asia and Vancouver. This is not a California roll or Japanese buffet type restaurant. The menu is refined. Every dish is fresh, delicious and artfully presented - prepared with care and served with genuine smiles. There are authentic sushi and sashimi items as well as fusion options with great creativity in flavour. Glad to see this Japanese family relocate to the Cariboo and bring their skills here. This is some of the best sushi in North America. I have travelled throughout Japan and am from Vancouver and I can say that the sushi made here is incredible. The owner and chef is extremely kind and generous. The price of this sushi is worth it for the high quality, additionally the portion size is good.
