When we first got there it was a bit confusing because there was no host, and no sign that said "seat yourselves" so we awkwardly stood at the front for a while. Normally if it were just a bar we would have just walked in and to a table or bar, but it seemed a little higher end than your typical bar/restaurant so we didnt know what to do. Eventually another customer told us we can just seat ourselves. As we were walking outside we passed an employee and asked if we could sit outside and she said go for it. Once outside it did take quite a while to get some menus and a greeting, but from there on it was a great experience. The menu was VERY diverse so I was a little worried. They had a little bit of everything, which stressed me out because I was wondering how they could do so many different cuisines well, they had pastas, lasagna, burgers, steaks, Greek food, Asian food, etc. I went with the Ollie's pasta, which was sausage, chicken, mushrooms, and a garlic cream sauce with either penne or fettuccine (we did fettuccine). It was really tasty, both the sausage and chicken were good quality, pasta was cooked well, and the sauce and garlic bread were really good. I wish there were a few more mushrooms but all in all it was really good. Our server (I think they may have been training) was really good. We sat on the patio and its really lovely out there!

We decided to pop into this place on our way up to Prince George, as they had good reviews online. We stopped during lunch and actually wondered if they would be open as it was a bar. They have a big space inside with two levels, but the decor was quite dark so it felt cozy. They also have a big bar seating, pool table, TV with sports, and a fire place. I can see it’ll be a great place to hang out after work for the locals. Accompanying their big space, they also have a big menu. We ordered the Teriyaki Salmon salad with a side of sauté prawns as well as the Santa Fe salad. The salmon was okay, slightly leaning towards the over cooked side. The teriyaki sauce could use a bit more soy sauce and sugar, as it tasted a bit bland. The Santa Fe salad was done really well though, could taste all the spices. Service and food was overall on the slow side. We felt a bit ignored at times but our waitress was really friendly and funny. She did apologize at the end and said they’ve been having hard time finding enough staff during COVID, which we can totally understand.

I have been here 3 times now. I try to eat somewhat healthy so I am kind of hooked on their Greek salad. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. My most recent server was named Karen. She has a friendly personality and provided great service. All the other waitresses are great too. They have a lot of beer on tap. The pints of IPA are my favorite. I don't think it's on the menu but I ask for garlic toast and some brown gravy to dip it in. No problem. They aim to please. They always have daily specials on beer and there are always some special meal choices written on the Blackboard. The prices are very reasonable. I am becoming a regular here. The owner Cory is incredible and focused on excellent food, plus excellent service. Good Job !

First experience here and I asked locals where to go that's decent. Oliver's was suggested. I intended to have a couple drinks and an appetizer then dinner.

I was solo so I decided to sit at the bar. I ordered a basic well known cocktail, an old fashion . What was made had soda water in it (or maybe even tonic) and just the colour told me it wasnt right. I took one sip and said "sorry but that's not an old fashion. What do you have on tap"

No effort was made by the bartender to ask a fellow staffer to make an old fashion or even look online #google to cater tone simple.drink request. That was the first let down.

I tried the 18 Karat amber beer and it was good.

I ordered Calamari and having spent years in a kitchen, it seemed reezer burned to me. Additionally it was served with tzatziki sauce..that's a first for me in my travels. Maybe sweet chili sauce or a spicy aioli sauce. Nope, just tzatziki.

The men's room has LCD screen above the urinals but they are literally in your face. I appreciate their efforts to replicate other places in other cities, but having to lean back to see what your looking at was uncomfortable.

I opted not to order dinner after these experiences.

The Bartender i dealt with was kind and friendly. She was fast at pouring pints and refilling beverages but could use a refresher course on basic cocktails.

The other staff was friendly and communication was great. TVs were playing sports and the patrons were friendly and chatty. Thats the only reason why I...

i was at oliver street bar & grill on monday night when the edmonton oilers won their first game against the florida panthers (monday, june 10, 2024). i am thrilled with this place and can highly recommend a visit here to everyone. i think it's great that i can choose and decide my own seat in this restaurant. i only sat at the table for five seconds before the waitress came and asked me what i wanted. and as soon as she left, my drink was in front of me, filled to the brim. the food is excellent, hot, fresh, juicy, i only had to wait a short time for it despite the large number of guests. one little thing i really appreciated was the option to replace the chips with a delicious greek salad. once again, everything is just right in this restaurant: very friendly and helpful staff and service, very fine food and great drinks, super atmosphere and ambiance. finally, another small positive detail that counts for me and is helpful for me as a tourist from switzerland: i don't have to ask and ask for a password, the wifi is available to everyone and always without a password. i live in tatlayoko lake valley during the summer and my friends send me to williams lake for shopping. i usually stay one night in williams lake because of the long drive, but also for the reason of being able to stop at oliver street bar & grill again. i've been there twice and will...
