Nowhere does it say you have relinquish the coupon to the order taker Jaismeen as I was trying to explain to you but you were unprofessional not to allow me to speak to the manager of the store so I could explain the (legality of the coupon), not trying be rude myself, just for your information . We go to other A&W restaurants and no where else in Winnipeg takes the coupon. If it wasn’t for the coupons we couldn’t afford to eat here as a single income Family with 3 teens is all I was saying Jaismeen. Food was great as usual, fresh juicy excellent crispy lettuce, soft bun, we love the Teen burgers and the fries now are very nice, we enjoyed our lunch very much. Placed an order at garden city food court. The girl at the counter understood how I wanted my papa made . She then explained to the guy in the back cooking . My order should have taken about 7 to 8 minutes to make. It came in 2 minutes. I asked for the burger to be made fresh and extra seasoning. . The parties had seasoning sprinkled on top of the patties . Really , did they think that he was going to get away with this and the onion rings were so over cooked , dry and old . Spoke with the manager and they made me a new hamburger ( the way I asked for it ) and didn't do anything about the rings . She also refunded my money. I've eaten at dubs for 40 years . Never have i ever had food served to me like that before . Definitely won't be going back . I sure hope the store on Insker & Main gets...

Disappointing food safety practices :-(

I recently ordered an egg and bacon sandwich from this location, I was quite concerned by what I observed. The person preparing my food was not wearing gloves and handled the bacon and bread directly w their bare hands. When I politely asked if they could wear gloves or use tongs, she responded that they were not instructed to do so and even suggested it wouldn’t make a Difference.

I explained that handling food without gloves or utensils could lead to contamination, but my concerns were dismissed with a smile.

Food safety is a serious matter and I hope this feedback encourages the A&W management to train their staff better and enforce proper hygiene standards. Until then, i’ll be...
