Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Winnipeg

So Thursday January 26th we pop out to grab some Popeyes even though the last time it was underwhelming we chalked it up to a one-off. Chicken was very good this time but I am disappointed with the business practices and I can't confirm if it is corporate or this locations policy. Ordered the 10 piece special (chicken only not tenders) and fries, slaw and the biscuits. We get home and I get five legs, four thighs and a keel (breast). A chicken has 9 pieces two legs, two wings, two thighs, two ribs and a keel so I would have expected that and likely a leg to make up the 10. When I called I spoke to the supervisor and she said the 10 piece comes with 5 big pieces and 5 small pieces which is exactly what I describe above but she says people can pick what they want and basically you get what you get after. So if a customer walks in and says I want the 10 piece make it the 5 big pieces of ribs and the 5 small pieces wings and I am right behind I basically get what's left. Anyway she did try to make it right as that night was icy, blowy and snowy my husband went back to Popeyes and she provided 2 wings and 2 ribs to make up for it. I just think when serving your customers the pieces being provided should be proportionate to the make up of a chicken. In the end all customer get all those same pieces. Again, the food was very good but the the oversight/policy on my order left...

A bit dissapointed with the mobile order app and waiting 20 min to get the order. We brought it to the attention of the Popeyes canada (Anna) in which brought it to the store manager. Figured we would try it again so we did the order from the vehicle plus we did an order in line which we got in 5 minutes and once again the small mobile order took 20 minutes. We got the attention of the staff and it seems like they only process the mobile when you mention it to them which I did at the 15 min time as our line order was getting cold. A bit frustrating as this should be done in turn and should not need to be brought to thier attention.

Just a follow up I did contact Devin Reimer the Operations Manager a couple times with no response back to try to resolve the stores operations especially with mobile orders. Sheesh...No return call was made and my mailbox is always available to...

Walked in at 6 pm on a Thursday. They were busy but not overly. They were well staffed and had enough food ready but not too much. We drove 20 mins before eating and food was still warm and fresh. 16 pc family meal was a very generous meal. Huge juicy chicken pieces well breaded and crispy. Fries got a little soggy but good flavour. Biscuits were soft , amazing homemade tasting cole slaw. Gravy not a fan , I don’t care for the added cajun stuff. Fed three generously and left lots for the next day. Just as good day 2 warmed up in the air fryer. Service was good, team worked together well. Cashier was average very process driven nothing special not friendly. Could smile. Restaurant was well lit and clean. Great parking . Getting onto McPhillips or Leila tricky at that time but I will go back again. So far best wpg popeyes experience with food and...
