Decided to give it another chance, this place used to be amazing, I got everyone from work to start ordering here in the past and we drive all the way from Crestview. When it's good food, the price doesn't matter and I'll drive to get it. But when it's not good, then I am mad I paid so much and drove so far for to get it! My fav used to be the chicken shwarma and the amazing Greek salad..but all of a sudden it changed, no garlic dip given anymore and to get a tiny container you need to pay. The Greek salad...well it went from the best to the worst, I actually had to go to my fridge and get dressing! I asked for half fries half rice, guess they don't do that anymore..just not happy. Sad, this place was so amazing..I used to tell everyone to go here, and I've tried every shwarma place in the city..but thats my final visit. Also, my husband used to love their pizzas, until they started putting huge slabs of...not sure, we think bologna or some kind of brown ham, no idea but it actually made us gag. Thought maybe it was a one time thing, that they had run out of ham, but nope, months later it was the same...I even ordered it behind his back, thinking I'd try it just one more time for him because he used to love it so much, but it was horrible! Was bad. Sad to walk away, the people are wonderful, amazing, such caring people, I even sampled wraps for them during covid when they couldn't order their regular supplies. Not sure what happened... :( Now I need to find a new...
Read moreI ordered on skip, specifically for their honey dill. They did not call or notify for a lack of stock and sent it without. When I called they said it was my fault for not requesting extra sauce (which would've cost more) and said they could credit for sauce only on future orders. I specifically ordered FOR THE SAUCE. Lmao. Not even an option to cancel or change in case they don't have it. Totally ripped off. Don't order from here unless u want to be ripped off. Bad customer service with nickel and diming practices.
Terrible service. Their food was bland without condiments. Over priced for what I got and for their failure as a business.
Editing to add someone from the restaurant tried calling on Whatsapp where their call or messages wouldn't be tracked. I don't think spending 50.00 more of product for 30 or 50 cents worth of free product is a real solution. If they were ethical, they should have notified me that they were unable to fulfill the order. Nor do I think lying about the communication is proper practice, while asking you to spend even more money to make up for their mistake.*
They also did not contact skip to reimburse me or credit for my food like they...
Read moreAladins, what is it not. The 8th wonder of the world, the place where when you take a bite, you have to breathe and reflect. I once bit into the pizza and uttered the words "God Bless America" on reflex, it was that good. The cupids arrow of creamy garlic sauce, the breathtaking artisan alfredo, the five cheeses that sends you back to those glory days. The United Nations meet to discuss, the whole new world that Aladin was singing about showing us. The personification of home in the crust it stands on. The emotion of better days with each drop of sauce.
If Aladin's has 1 million fans, I am one of them. If Aladin's has 10,000 fans, I am one of them. If Aladin's has 100 fans, I am one of them. If Aladin's has 1 fan, I am that fan. If Aladin's has zero fans, I am gone.
Books written and statues built.
Gordon Ramsay found sulking in a corner wishing he could be Aladin's. Before currency people bartered for seats at Aladin's. A rollercoaster of comfort. A ferry of sensation. An airplane of insatiable.
If the zombie apocalypse occured, I'd go to Aladin's because I would die happy. Actually, if the apocalypse happened, we would've already found the cure.
It...
