Chicken Delight — Restaurant in Winnipeg

!UPDATE! Spoke to a very nice employee who seemed to help get my message passed over, and who tried to help me the best he could but I cannot remember his name for the life of me! Assistant manager got ahold of me and apologized for everything that’s happened, offered money back or a free meal. It’s people like this who save the companies from losing business, after the conversation we had it seems like this problem won’t happen again . I appreciate the effort put in from these individuals! And if it weren’t for them I would no longer be buying from this location! Special thanks to Umar(hopefully I spelt that right) for all the help!!!

ordered delivery friday and had to call to ask where the food was, was told my order was for pickup which was a lie, my confirmation email proved otherwise, then still proceeded to wait for the food to be delivered. In total waited 1hour and 54 mins to eat after ordering and food was stale/old/cold called back and asked for a manager and was told he wasn't in but would call me back Saturday, didn't call, i called back again asking when i should be expecting a call and got told Sunday, Sunday came around and i still didn't get a call. just called again and was told he still isn't in and i should get a call tonight. This is absolutely ridiculous being lied to and given the run around because they couldn't do their job correctly... I will keep calling till i get a manager, paying $80.00 for this is awful!!!!! I never post reviews but the Henderson Hwy location in my opinion has been going down hill for awhile now. Ordered from there tonight and the fries were tasteless, like they were sitting around for awhile. The coleslaw is dry, never creamy like it used to be. The chicken is a hit and miss. Sometimes its so greasy the box falls apart, or it is tasteless. We always order the lucky 13 and seems like there is never the same amount of pieces in there. For example sometimes there could be 2 wings other times up to 4. And the same with other pieces, not consistant. And this one delivery driver, always takes the bags out of his delivery bag and places it on my steps before I get to the door. Like you cant leave it in your bag until i pay for it? If I am paying over $60, I dont want my food sitting on my steps until I get there and tasteless to boot! Really need to find a new...

I have been a Chicken Delight customer and fan since the early 1970's. Until I decided to try this location late last year, I had been avoiding Chicken Delight in my Elmwood neighborhood because of the horrible way the locations near me prepare the food and the disgusting lack of attention (in my opinion) those locations show with regards to the cooking oil which in my experience, almost always has a darker color on the chicken and fries with a rancid oil taste to the food.
