Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Ordered take out (thru Door Dash) and was greatly disappointed. We asked for delivery between 4:30 to 5:00 pm but was surprised to get a call at 3:45 pm that delivery guy is at our door. But that's fine. The food was cold (especially the fries) and add to that we did not get what we paid for. We ordered one 2 pc chicken and one 3-pc chicken but got two 2-pc chicken. Phoned the following day and left a message but did not get a response at all (that is poor customer service). Phoned the following day and talked to a guy and told our concern but was told to contact Doordash. Is it Doordash's fault that we didn't get what we ordered and is it Doordash's fault that the food came to us cold? They are obviously passing the buck. Would never ever order again from this restaurant and want everyone to know about this. This should have rectified but what would you expect for a restaurant with no customer service. Upon ordering the cashier didnt ask me if I wanted half reg and half spicey for my meal. Just put in all regular, also didnt give choices for sides. Food was good. Restaurant was clean. My biggest complaint was when eating inside all you can hear is most of the workers were speaking Punjabi to eachother when they clearly had other non-punjab peoples working in the kitchen as well who clearly DO NOT SPEAK PUNJABI!! This is the rudest thing coworkers can do. I felt bad for the one young man who I got his name "Ayden" having to work alongside people who are NOT SPEAKING ENGLISH!!! Poor guy probably wishes he could tell his coworkers to speak English but might be bullied for speaking up! I love Popeyes, usually. Nice crispy chicken never oily and soggy like unmentioned competitors. However, today at this store we had a bad experience with the food. We had talked two other couples to go to lunch today promising the Popeyes chicken was much better and not oily. It was So oily it spit out-of the piece of chicken as my wife bit into it. Spaying oil and dribbling down her hand. The skin was not crispy but rubbery. She tried to finish it with a fork. My pieces were somewhat better but far from what I usually get at the store over on Keneston. Not sure what went wrong in the kitchen but not sure I'll be able to get her to try it again. Hope it's better next time, I think the chicken sandwich is the best in the business.
