From start to finish, my experience with Freddy’s was nothing short of outstanding. I opted for a mobile order pickup, and I was thoroughly impressed by how smooth and efficient the process was. Upon arriving at the designated mobile pickup area, my order was already prepared, piping hot, and ready to go—exactly what you hope for but don’t always get.
The Triple Steakburger was a standout—bursting with flavor, perfectly assembled, and visually appealing. The portion of toppings was generous without overwhelming the sandwich, and the taste was absolutely on point. I highly recommend adding bacon, ketchup, and mayo for an extra layer of indulgence—you will not be disappointed.
The shoestring fries were equally remarkable: hot, crisp, and incredibly addictive. It was clear they had just come out of the fryer. To complement the meal, I was pleased to find Cherry Coke available—an underrated gem on any drink menu and a perfect pairing with the meal.
If you’re on the fence about what to order for dessert, let me make this easy: get the Reese’s Royale. This thing isn’t just good—it’s dangerously delicious.
First off, the custard is exactly what you’d expect from Freddy’s: ultra creamy, silky smooth, and luxuriously rich. It doesn’t just melt in your mouth; it floods it with pure, sweet satisfaction. It’s like someone churned heaven and froze it.
Then there’s the toppings—and let me tell you, Freddy's doesn’t skimp. You’re not getting a stingy sprinkle of crushed Reese’s here. You’re getting a royal shower of peanut butter cup chunks, fudge, and whipped cream, generously layered like they were trying to impress the gods of dessert. Every bite delivers a perfect mix of peanut butter, chocolate, and that signature Freddy’s custard.
The overall flavor? Absolutely tasty. Sweet, salty, creamy, crunchy—it checks all the boxes. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you pause mid-bite just to savor the moment.
If you’re a fan of Reese’s or just someone who appreciates a top-tier frozen treat, the Reese’s Royale is not to be missed. Freddy’s nailed it with this one!
Although the dining room was bustling with activity and the line was nearly out the door, I was glad to see that it moved efficiently. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean despite the rush, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional.
To anyone considering giving Freddy’s a try—don’t hesitate. The quality of food, speed of service, and overall atmosphere are a testament to a well-run establishment. Whether you’re dining in or picking up like I did, you’re in...
Read moreI came in for some frozen custard at around 7:00ish today in the evening with 2 other people and we had an awful experience. Not 1, not 2, but all 3 of our orders were screwed up. And we were quite clear, all ordering pretty slowly, and we all ordered one at a time to what seemed like a very experienced cashier.
I ordered a mini chocolate concrete with a cookie dough add-in - I received a mini chocolate concrete with chocolate chips, not cookie dough. And boy was there chocolate chips, waaaaay too many chocolate chips! Like literally at least half the cup (or more) was chocolate chips. Who wants that many chocolate chips??? It was quite ridiculous and not super enjoyable.
Person 2 ordered a mini chocolate concrete with hot fudge as a mix-in - They received a mini chocolate concrete with, you guessed it, and ungodly amount of chocolate chips, not the hot fudge swirl as ordered. Whats with the chocolate chips??? No one asked for chocolate chips and we sure as hell didn't want 100,000 of them in our mini concretes. Some of the bites were literally more chocolate chip than custard!
Person 3 ordered a small vanilla sundae with the caramel sauce on top - They received a small vanilla sundae with chocolate sauce on top, not caramel. The order isn't what the person wanted or was expecting at all but THANK GOODNESS they spared at least one of us from the chocolate chip mayhem!
In addition to the truly overwhelming amount chocolate chips and screwed up orders, the custard was quite soupy. It was unusually melty/runny from the moment we received them. We had 5 or 6 good bites before it was just straight soup. Idk if that's the norm, or if it was meltier because we got ours straight from the machine, or if it was sitting out, or what? But I would've definitely preferred it more firm with some structure to it.
I have never tried their actual food, but it looked really good and am excited to try it someday... but I hope that the experience is vastly different because I am 1 chocolate chip away from never eating...
Read moreIt was a BAD first experience overall. I guess their drive thru is not working yet, so I will give them points for having an employee taking orders as you drove up. We waited about 10 minutes to get our food, which was not an issue for us, but can be for others if you are in a rush. My drink came out first (orange cream frost), with the lid askew and spilling out of the side of the cup. I tried closing the lid but it wasn’t sealing and I couldn’t even get it into the cup holder without spilling. I asked for another lid, didn’t get it, employee took the drink back inside, pressed the lid down and handed it back to me with milkshake all over the cup. Had to ask for extra napkins because they weren’t offered. Now my hands are sticky all over. Bag of food comes out, full so it doesn’t close and packed top-heavy. It topples as soon as I place it down on the seat. Have to hold it in place with one hand as I drive home. I’m irritated, but hopefully the food makes up for it. It doesn’t. I order the California Burger which has a bare spread of sauce. I’m a couple of bites into the burger when I get a hard piece of bone or something in my burger patty. The fries are sub-par and HEAVILY salted. The fried pickles are barely crispy and the breading tastes undercooked in places. How much was this experience? $50 for two combos. YIKES. I was surprised that the lineups out the door didn’t last too long, but now I know why that was. There is a long road to go and hopefully they turn it around. I probably will not be giving this place another shot for...
