Harvey's is a very nice alternative to most other household names in fast food, and it's a real shame that there's just 3 locations in the city. Burgers are created in a Subway-like process where you get to have direct input in how much or how little of something you'd like on them, which while may be a little more time intensive, stays true to their slogan..."Harvey's makes your hamburgers a beautiful thing!". Although this location is in close proximity to a mini-ghetto and bathroom use is restricted to employees and Winnipeg Transit operators, chances are good that you won't deal with riff-raff during most hours. Prices are pretty much in line with other chains for the rest of their food, which I find the quality of to be generally above average. No qualms with the employees either, they make sure they have everything right. If you've got a SCENE card, hey, you can use it here too and get points (or use them if you have a bunch...
Read moreCurrently in the middle of a dispute. It is Jan 05 and Harvey's is running a Buy 1 Get 1 Free promo on Angus beef burgers. I ordered 4 burgers and 3 large fries through Uber.
When the order arrived it consisted of what I think was just 2 burgers. I didn't open the bag to look. In fact I refused to accept the order. I contacted Uber Support and received a lousy $11 refund. I contacted the restaurant and they tell me there is a bad connection and can't hear me.

In the meantime I have been charged $30 and have NOTHING to show for it. Not happy.
EDIT: It is now Jan 07. Uber Support has been in touch with me and the matter has been resolved satisfactorily.
On a sidenote, I filled out the form as instructed but haven't yet heard back. Ultimately it no...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible. When I entered there was a couple homeless people inside the restaurant who ended up leaving on their own. The management did not do anything to get rid of them from the dining area
Now, let's get to the real culprit... the service. I don't remember any names but the guy with the turban...He was really nice and friendly but there was an East Indian lady working and she was absolutely terrible and the most rudest person ever. I've never seen someone so skimpy with the toppings as her and at the end of the order I asked for some garlic mayo with my fries. She said we only have ketchup so rudely and I said well....Can I pay for it? and then she finally said yes and then I ended up paying 57 cents for it. Talk about having zero customer service skills.
The food tasted good but this place definitely needs some security and...
