All of us in Winnipeg have Rightfully and aptly to be jealous of Corydon for having this place, I hope and i believe will become a staple and sought out place.
If you ever remember anyone in your household or among relatives that made baked goods that always tasted so very wonderful and healthier and full of love? If you have that memory, then this place will hit that spot. Its basically Vira Volt(and her husband sergei - as told to me by the smiling server behind the counter) and her crew and their love for baking and feeding you that is consistent mass homemade delights. You can search winnipeg free press to read more about them if you are interested.
Ever since being here, I was always missing that nice cakey, less sugary, less cream filled pastries, cakes and dainties this will be my sought after place to have those fixings. Not discounting bakeries across the cities, they all have their specifics and something they are known for. This bakery should be known for the deep, simple yet flavouful variety that they bring out in each of their delicacies. There is nothing fancy in their creations, but if you are looking for a fancy flavour, mouthfeel and texture you should head over to this bakery and show them you are ready to be loved.
Must haves: Kyiv torte(texture, flavour) honey cake(deep flavour), chocolate mousse tarte(so light and flavourful), tiramisu slice(balance flavors). i am pretty sure when they will have paska it will be the best one.
This is just a wonderful...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with this bakery. I specifically told the staff that my husband has serious egg and nut allergies and asked them what would be safe for him to eat. They assured me that the strawberry cheesecake was fine. Unfortunately, as soon as my husband took a bite, he suffered a severe allergic reaction that required immediate attention.
This was not only careless, but also incredibly dangerous. When a customer clearly communicates a life-threatening allergy, staff should know their products and give accurate information. I cannot trust this bakery with our safety and will never return.
I hope they take this seriously and review their allergy protocols before someone else gets harmed.
UPD. (As an answer on your reply)
I appreciate your reply, but I want to clarify that I asked multiple times about the ingredients and specifically mentioned my husband’s allergies. Your staff reassured me that the dessert was safe, and it absolutely was not. This is not a matter of “our discretion” — it’s the responsibility of your staff to know what is in the products they are serving and to give accurate information.
Suggesting another bakery also felt dismissive and rude instead of addressing the serious mistake that happened at your shop. My husband’s health was put at risk because of your staff’s assurances, and I hope you take this as a reminder to ensure your employees are properly trained and knowledgeable about the ingredients in...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about Amazing Honey Bunny! From the moment you walk in, there’s this warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel like you’ve just stepped into someone’s cozy kitchen. The smell of freshly baked pastries alone is worth the visit, but once you actually try what they have to offer—wow. You can tell everything is made with care and passion.
I’ve tried a few different items, and every single one has been a hit. The pastries are light, flavorful, and not overly sweet—just the right balance. The quality ingredients and creativity in the flavors really set them apart. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or picking something up to share, it’s honestly hard to go wrong here. Their Kiev cake and the strudel are just a divine! Stained glass cookie and lemon almond cake are delicious as well!!! What really bugs me is seeing negative reviews from people who never even bought or tried anything. It’s one thing to offer genuine feedback based on experience, but it’s another to make assumptions from the outside. Businesses like this put so much love and effort into what they do, and they deserve to be judged on the actual product—not baseless speculation.
I’m really glad I gave this place a shot, and I’ll definitely be back. If you’re in Winnipeg and love quality pastries, this little gem is worth supporting. Give them a try—you...
