Read moreLived in Winnipeg all my life and have never been to Munson Park. Honestly, can't believe how many old-growth, trees with holes in them, and intricate roots there. Reminds me of a storybook.
I was searching the trees for a Geo Cache, 10/5 difficulty because I still can't find it.
Great park.
Nice spot for walking with friends, stopping and taking a moment. Located next to the Assiniboine river you can walk to the water and enjoy the view or walk along the frozen river in the winter months.
Always interesting and enjoyable park patrons, lots of dog walkers and a nice free library...
