We got there around 10:30 am and it was already very busy, we got the last free table. From the good: we were seated quickly, given a menu, brought water and coffee. That was the end of the good service.

There were no coffee spoons or stirrers, so we stirred the sugar with a knife. We never realized who our waiter was. We waited a very long time to take our order, in the end my husband went to the cash register himself, but he was told that they would take our order at the table. We waited for 30-40 minutes at least until someone finally did it, while we asked three different people to do it and got the answer that in a minute they would come to us, which did not happen.

Our coffee was already cold and we finished it and had the idea to just leave this place. All the workers just in turmoil ran around the cafe, while in 5 minutes as we came most of the tables were vacated.

In the end a girl waiter passed by us purely by chance and asked if everything was ok. We said no, because no one would take our order after numerous requests. She finally did and brought the order over relatively quickly. We ordered 2 Salmon Benedict but one of them the waitress brought with 1 egg and said 1 was missing and after a couple minutes she brought the second egg in a small plate separately.

The food tasted average as was the presentation, not worth $20 a serving in our opinion. By the time we went for dessert, a lot had already been sold out. The pastries were nothing special.

We would not go back and would not recommend to anyone, there are other places with better service and quality for...

I went today and my expectations were very high but the result was beyond disappointing. The food took almost 1 hour to arrive and when the waitress (who was extremely nice and is not to blame) came to apologize for the delay and to explain that the toaster was broken another waitress showed up with the food. - I wonder what really happened. Our food had 2 mini pieces of bread so I find odd that the toaster was the problem. they did ask If we wanted to get something from the bakery in the meantime (why would I want to buy more food if the first order haven't arrived) I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Salmon. There was little to non Hollandaise sauce on it (see the pictures). Salmon looked nice and fresh but was heavy on salt. The Eggs are supposed to be over the toast and the salmon, not randomly served over the potatoes. potatoes were good Eggs were poached nicely. we ordered a dessert that was very good. the waitress that served us the dessert had a extremely strong body odor, which I would totally ignore if she wasn't the person serving my food. (different waitress than the first). Our bill was around $80 (2 people), which would be reasonable if things were done properly and tasted well but for my experience, it was the opposite and I don't plan to go back. I hope this feedback help the restaurant to improve so others don't have to go through the disappointment I had...

The food is okay. I had the Pharaoh’s Mediterranean and today’s special, Eggs Benny with salmon. I thought the eggs and salmon were of good quality. Nothing else blew my socks off, it was fine—nothing particularly unique, but still okay.

I also tried a strawberry latte and a chai latte. Both were pretty average and fine.

The servers were very kind and fun, and I appreciated their service. I felt adequately taken care of.

Money wise, things were a bit pricey. Maybe that’s just the new world we live in now. Definitely recommend, if you’re going, to go with people so you could try a few things and not have to pay tons.

Last thing I did notice is that, as a queer person who walks in this area often, this place had Pride decorations up but already took them down, and Pride Month is not even over. This makes me a bit sad and weary. I don’t know what the intentions are, but it's something I noticed as a queer person walking around considering where is worth my dollar. Thought I’d give it a honest try though.

Overall, it was an okay experience. Would I go again? Probably not, but not because it was bad—there's just nothing that stands out enough to make me want to return. I could see myself going back if a friend wanted to go, mainly because it's one of the only brunch spots in the...
