Kawaii Crepe — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Originally my visits to kawaii crepe at northgate exceeded my expectations! Whole wheat morning sunshine was great. however to my surprise, after about 2 months of ordering the same thing suddenly I was told there was now a charge to get whole wheat. never known any of the other restraunts out there to charge for whole wheat. This was my first disappoint experience as subway certainly doesn't charge, neither do others such as pita pit or burrito splendido. my next disappointing experience came when I had asked and paid for a little extra cheese and bacon on it, they failed to provide...this happened 3 days in a row...paid for extra, got none. these were my last visits there. although the place is clean and the food is good and I may one day go back, for now they have lost me as a customer as It feels almost as if they stole...

I hope people that manages the store can see through the cameras how disrespectful the staff is in the store. We ordered two crepes same one and told them to modify one with just Nutella on the inner side, no response, which was fine they still tried and listened to us. As we got the order we sat and was immediately told to leave as the store is closed. I then asked what time the store closes, the person replied 11 so I asked, so we can’t sit till then? The person then replied the lobby closes at 1030. So I asked what about the group ( about 6-7 people) who just left and then he replied by saying that they were friends. I asked so rules are different for friends and costumers? Is this really standard of...

The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. Unfortunately the menu wall has many items marked gluten free that aren't gluten free at all. I ordered one today and after I ate it I commented on how delicious it was, especially for a gluten free item. Only then was I told that the crepes marked as gluten free are only made gluten free if you request it. This is the exact opposite of every other restaurant I have ever been to. I have a food allergy and have painful violent reactions to wheat. I can't believe that mislabeled menus is a problem in these times when so many people have food allergies, some of them fatal. Please re write the menu wall...
