Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Super disappointed yet again with our trip to this location. We ordered 3 ice creams (a mini strawberry blizzard no cheesecake, a skor caramel brownie blizzard and a Pecan Mudslide). The two blizzards came to our table quickly however I had to wait thru several other customers (about ten minutes) for my Pecan Mudslide to arrive. A Pecan Mudslide is essential a sundae built with hot fudge, caramel and pecans and what I received was a disaster! The girl who handed it to me dripping EVERYWHERE, apologized and said it was melting because their caramel sauce was too hot. I am wondering if the dessert was made and then she got too busy to bring it out to me hence the melted status. In any case if should have been REMADE. I would have never served this to anyone had this been me, what a slap in the face to DQs image. I'd say this location is best at blizzards but the time before this visit we ordered an Oreo cheesecake blizzard and received a half Oreo half plain ice cream blizzard (not blended properly). When we returned it to point out the mistake, the lady just stirred in a scoop of cheesecake and figured that was good enough. The manager gave us a sundae coupon to apologize for the mistake which was nice but really... It didn't taste the way it should've. Both trips were disappointing. Sadly I think this will be our last time at this location, we'll find somewhere else to go. The pictures below says it all. Could you imagine if they'd passed that out thru the drive thru...

Three times we have visited in the last month kids wanted something cold I ordered a blizzard extra brownie extra pecans lucky if there was even the normal amount so charged for extra got almost nothing, second time my kids cake batter cookie dough had 3 cookie dough piece, and tonight was the last straw we ordered two things a large blizzard cup of just ice cream and a small blizzard we got a ice cream cone and a large blizzard when we told her the order was wrong she didn't apologize just looked at us then took the cone back and we waited thinking she was fixing it, and some one else came and tried to give us someone else's order, then the first girl comes back and is like what's the problem I then repeated again for the second time we are missing the large blizzard cup of soft serve ice cream and I ordered a small I do not want a large blizzard she again walked away and came back for now the third time and handed us a ice cream cone. At that point we gave everything back asked for our money back and left. This place is the most disappointing there staff does not listen and they don't seem to care the just stare at you like your the one that made the order wrong, at this point I will be filing a complaint, with the over inflated cost of everything now a days, you should expect better service for all the over priced goods you try and buy, we will never return and will encourage those that we know not...

The ppl that work here are truly great and I love the new location but the only thing is with it being part of a strip mall all of the drive thrus are piled on top of each other so it makes it harder to walk or drive in the lot. They have some stop signs but there is also lots of traffic from Northgate Mall to contend with as it's always busy especially with the movie theatre and the Save On Foods even though there is also parking behind the mall. I haven't seen the inside of Northgate and the upgrades yet but glad they did renovations finally. The blizzards were good and actually cheaper than some of the locations and the nice Asian girl who served us said that there are new owners. We will definitely be back as it was nice and roomy and we got our ice cream fast. I think the reason some might have experienced slow sevice is possibly they have new staff for this location cause of the new owners. So it takes time to train them and maybe they had no experienced staff to send over. Most seem to be individually owned... Also if it was just a chill location those ones tend to have different high school kids each summer. Its too early to say for this Brazier location if they do the...
