Probably the worst Mary Browns in the city (only because I havent gone to the Regent location). I called ahead to order chicken for a few people. My cousin went down there 20 mins later and the owner made her wait another 30 mins. I live in Charleswood and we dont have one on this side of the city. When she brought it over, is was the absolutely gross. When I called, I talked to the owner, or the woman who claimed to be the owner, and I must say what a rude despicable person! She yelled at me and told me I was lying. The chicken keel is nothing like the other locations and tastes awful. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Pembina or Sage creek! Read moreI ordered a 10 piece special and large coleslaw. I had a couple pieces of chicken when I got home. Late that night I was awoken by my bowls. Ended up on the toilet. Next day I had another three pieces and once again 3am on the can.
I wrote down everything I ate over the two days. It was obvious that it could have only been their food. I spoke to female on phone who claimed to be a manger about the situation. Nothing was done and my information taken.
Poor hand hygiene was likely the cause. Poor handling of the situation by management was the second strike. I don't know about you but would you eat someone else's urine or feces? Maybe that's why they call it Mary Brown's?

The front staff were more than patient and courteous as they worked through each of my issues and ensured that my order was completed quickly. Kudos to the staff as they treated me nicely and professionally despite my attitude and rudeness. Even while dealing with my issues, they were working with another customer to accommodate her needs within company policy.
Once again, I apologize for taking out my frustrations on the staff. But I commend their professionalism and ability to serve their customers.
