Ordered their Chicken Scalopinni Alla Marsala ($21.50). It came on a medium plate, what looked like SMALL breasts of chicken in a bit of sauce with some halved mushrooms. Just by looking you could tell the chicken had been frozen and was freezer burned. Cut it and it's all stringy (as chicken gets when it has been frozen for a while). Crunchy around the edges from freezer burn and it tasted horrid. I would expect fresh chicken and a decent portion at that price! Sauce was thin and a non-entity. We sent it back and ordered Fettuccine Alla Marinara ($17.00) instead, thinking we should be safe with pasta at an Italian restaurant. We were served a small portion of fettuccine with big chunks of fake crab, and small bits of scallop and (I think) shrimp (both of which had clearly also been frozen and freezer-burned). The appetizer of calamari was good (albeit heavier breading and greasy) and the bread served beforehand was nice, but the main food served wasn't worth $5 let alone what they ask for it! Save yourself the trouble and go to somewhere like Sorrento's. Way better food and twice the amount for the...
Read morei wanted the manicotti but they add sugar to make it sweet, so i asked if they could make cannelloni without meat since i’m vegetarian. the waitress said yes, that’d be no problem. food comes, i take a bite, and there’s barely any cheese / it’s all ground beef. so i tell her, and she says passive aggressively that they “obviously” don’t make it without meat & she had “already told me that” so she was confused. as if this was my fault for not knowing. she obviously never mentioned that as she said they could leave out the meat. she had a somewhat rude and unconcerned attitude afterwords, never offered a solution or discount on our $120 bill which she still charged me for the cannelloni, never brought some things we asked for, didn’t bring the bill until the 3rd time we told her we were good to go (had to wait for a half hour).. the prices are also way too high for food that isn’t anything special & the dishes were dirty. the only positive thing i can note is that they have good portion sizes. but personally, i won’t eat here again & i wouldn’t recommend it to...
Read moreCalled to order pizza, wings and salad. Lady who answered is very abrupt, rude and makes it seem like you are putting them out by asking questions about whats in their salads for ingredients, as there is zero info anywhere. We were told in the feta salad it was mixed greens, which means iceburg lettuce with 4 spinach leaves apparently, olives with pits left in them and soggy red onion. This is actually the 2nd time in a few months we ordered and last time, the same lady was ignorant then as well. When asked around the time it would be ready, we were told then that it will be ready when its ready. Can you say ignorant service? Thought ok...benefit of the doubt she was having an off day. Guess not, seems normal for mrs miserable that works there. If you want people to help out and buy local...dont act disrespectful to the people trying to help keep your doors open. next time I will be supporting a business that appreciates customers, not Paradise Pizza. Trust me, the pizza wasnt so good that you are doing us a favour...
