Pita Pit — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Very disappointing experience ,

I was supplied coupons delivered by your restaurant to my work place , my co-worker and I have been taking advantage and supporting your business - using as much of them as possible over the last few weeks. , Today we went into the restaurant with intentions to use the 2 can dine Coupon - regrettably we had forgotten the coupon and simply tried to express the interest to the employee at the till of wanting to still use it , her attitude was les than acceptable ,in fact the energy was off from the entire crew working , not one smile or "hello" it had felt as if the woman in charge behind the till had set the mood for everyone to not be as happy and cheerful as we normally get to experience. The simple fact she wouldn't even give us the time of day was quite upsetting, in addition to this it almost felt like we inconvenienced them by asking about the coupon.... Ultimately it's left me questioning my return to this restaurant , your product as delicious as it may be is pricy , as much as I'd like to supply my business to you daily. I truly enjoy the benefits of getting coupons.

The take away given to me today really is confusing and discouraging for myself to want to go...

My husband and I first walked in on a Saturday at 4:30pm and 2 teen girls were working. Both were laughing and talking loudly on phones while taking our order. I ordered a gluten free pita. After we paid and the meat was already on the grill they realized the gluten free wraps were in the freezer. One girl got them out and literally threw them on the counter, one giant completely frozen stack, right in front of me. She then put them in a microwave, again right in front of me, and proceeded to defrost them. It didn't work. When she finally got the pita made and handed it to me the bread still had ice crystals on it, and the meat was overcooked from being on the grill for so long. As for my husband's pita, it was bagged and we drove half an hour before opening it, only to find out it wasn't the one he ordered - it was the one the lady behind us ordered. That makes 2 orders that got messed up. A complete waste of $30, and they has to nerve to ask us for a tip (while giggling and rolling their eyes to each other). The entire experience was disgusting and horrendous and we will never be returning to this...

Horrible experience here ! Picked up 2 pitas and my husband goes to take a bite and a long black hair is showing through the pita. I phoned and asked to speak to a manager and the employee on the phone says she is the manager and I tell her what happened, she covers the phone and starts speaking to somelse, so there’s muffled noise. She comes back and says “ok we refund one pita only, I then said we don’t want to eat the other one , our appetites are ruined and then I asked “ do you wear hairnets while working with open food?” She says “no I have my hair tied back, then asks what kind of hair. I said it was from the East Indian lady that made our pitas” she then proceeded to call me RACIST and then saidthere is a white woman who has black hair there, and I said it wasnt a white woman who made our pitas, I’m giving you the description of the person who did, and I’m describing her to you. Nope she kept saying that’s racist.?! WTH ? Bottom line never going...
