NEW REVIEW MAY 15 2024 Just ate here in the restaurant, completely forgetting about the below experience two years ago.
I came to give a two-star review, and coincidentally that is the same as two years ago!
The in-restaurant experience was poor. The service was disorganized, slow, and unacceptable for a 'higher end' (priced) place. The server did not offer to refill my glass once in the whole the 1.5 hours we were there. They charged an automatic 15% gratuity without telling our group in advance. The server told me after paid, so my tip ended up being around 30% for bad service! The food took a long time to come out also...
Overall a really terrible experience and will not be back again. I will not name the server out of respect.
Also... they put their pepperoni under the cheese... faux pas!
OLD REVIEW (2022) Wanted to try this location for the first time. Called to order awhile before closing time. Was asked if the order was for delivery or pickup. I said delivery, a 6-7 minute drive. Employee then stated it was too late. So, I said for pickup. She then said it is too late to order at all! Seemed like they were unwilling to make a single simple pizza for a new customer about 15-20 minutes prior to closing time.
As well, the individual was not friendly.
Not a good first impression. A business should ensure friendliness, competency, and stay open until their stated closing time.
Did not seem customer-oriented!
Has to be at least 2/5 because I do know Santa Lucia has...
Read moreIf i can give lower than 1 star i will give it to this store. I ordered pizza for my kids at around 10:30pm and when i arrived home. The restaurant call and they let me know that the pizza they gave me is a wrong flavour of pizza. And so i ask them to deliver it and we will wait the right pizza. And already 12:30am and no pizza has been deliver. So i called the restaurant asking where is my kids pizza because they still waiting for the pizza because they dont like the wrong pizza we got. And a lady said that driver is trying to call me and no answer. Well that a 100% lie because no missed calls or even voicemail in my phone. Then she said that they will call the driver and she will call back.. after 15mins i didnt receive a call back so i call them back asking again where is my pizza. And the lady said she is going to give me a credit instead because she said that the driver went to my house and trying to call me another 100% lie. If he already at my house i have 2 doorbells in my house to use and at least try to knock the door if he dont know how to use doorbell. Because we are at the window with my kids waiting for the pizza we order. I told the lady that they didnt even try to deliver my pizza at all. They just make us like a fool waiting a pizza...
Read moreMy brother in law had a birthday dinner here. He called in advance to book an appointment for a large group, but was told they couldn't take appointments, that the only way to guarantee a spot would be to come in early that day. So he went there at 4pm that day, and found out that the only large group area had been somehow booked by somebody else! A friend of the owners. The treatment was awful, nobody apologized to him or helped him out at all, and when the rest of us arrived at 6:30 we all had to wait for an hour to get our table, despite being told regularly that it wouldn't be too much longer. When we sat down there still wasn't enough seats for everybody, but instead of grabbing a nearby table to put together with us, they seated someone else there, while members of our party stood around and waited for a long time while the rest of us sat. Well, the table that got seated there had eaten and left before we even ordered our meals! Instead of giving us two servers for a group of 25, we received one trainee. Everything took forever. He gave a fine effort, but he didn't have any help. We complained to the manager, who was very unhelpful. By the time we left it was almost 11. I will never set foot in that...
