Original Georges Burgers & Subs - Main Street — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I was in Winnipeg for work recently and was craving a great burger, and was so lucky to find this place. The burgers are delicious, and incredible fresh. The size of the fries portion?! Oh wow… such a generous portion, and real fresh fries.

The staff is so friendly, and service is quick, which made the whole experience even better. If you're in the area and craving a delicious home made style burger, this place is your go to. And if you come during the summer time, the outdoor seating area is very nice, as well.

If you're in the mood for an amazing burger an fries the is not a better place to go!!!! I personally had a "George's special" which is a triple burger. My wife the "Greek 🍟" it was Bursting with Feta cheese" and I'm pretty sure that the tzatziki sauce was made from scratch. ( although I might be wrong) And it tasted amazing. The staff was super friendly and one piece of advice if you're going to have it be sure to have extra napkins or even a bib. Yes it's messy but it's a type of burger that wouldn't taste right...

Went in to this George's location. We ordered the Fatboy combo. The Fatboy was very good tasty and all the vegetables were crunchy and fresh. Hand cut fries /w gravey were delicious! Washed it all down with a soda which was included with the combo price. Its a small location with only a few tables on the inside but, there is picnic tables with umbrellas to utilize outside.
