Taco Del Mar — Restaurant in Winnipeg

We USE to love Taco del Mar and we don't get out to the city too often to enjoy it, but we did get the opportunity when we found ourselves at the Kenaston location at around 5 pm on a Sunday. We ordered 2 burritos which has always been our main go-to item that we always felt was the best value. However, things have apparently changed at Taco del Mar : limited soft shell options as well as limited bean and meat selection but being they are dealing with COVID 19 I can understand; no matter we were still happy, our absolute shock came when we were finally done "loading" our burrito and to our shock it was more like a taquito!! We were starving and chose Taco del Mar over other wonderful places that now in hindsight would've been a much better choice. They didn't offer to open our bottles of pop nor did they not offer us Cholula sauce which I missed when she was already rolling my sacramental burrito up. Terrible service, very stingy. We ordered burrito bowls and the workers refused to put more than half a scoop of any toppings. The bowls were less than half full and they only very begrudgingly filled them that much. What, are the toppings coming straight out of the staffs' personal paycheques? I asked for a little more rice, since they only put half a scoop and she goes "no, that's extra". I asked for both kinds of beans and again "no, that's extra". This place was really nice, because it is connected with a subway on the other side of it. The employees were nice and friendly and were quick on making your food. Just that there was a bit lack of tables, and some of them were still dirty from previous customers. And that the toilets were a bit disgusting because they were unclean, and its not pleasant to see stuff like that before you eat your food.
