"Master of Pizza" is a big name to live up to, but I think you'll agree once you've tasted it. Been a customer for about 10 years because it's the best pizza in the city and has very reasonable prices. I like the simplicity of their restaurant; they seem to make two things - Pizza and salad. Call a major chain and they will try to sell you on cheese in the crust and their new chicken 'dippers', sugared dough for dessert and all sort of crap you don't need, all for more than you wanted to pay. If you just want great pizza for a great price, call Tony's. I have a little story on their service - I live in a very tall building and a couple years ago we had problems with humidity messing with elevators. I buzzed Tony's driver in and waited for a long time for him to arrive on my floor. Turns out the elevator was busted and he WALKED up 30+ flights of stairs to deliver the pizza. Under the circumstances, I would have called the customer and left the pizza with security. When i gave him a bottle of water and apoligised, he was super cheerful and said it was great excercise for a upcoming marathon he was...
Read moreWe ordered the XL Hawaiian Delight and the Tony’s special. It was buy one, get another the same size for 50% off. This was good value, as it fed 6 adults, with leftovers for roughly $12 per person after delivery and tip. As for the pizza, the crust is thin, fresh and crispy, but we were underwhelmed by the quantity and balance of the toppings. For example, the Toby’s special had more green peppers, but less meat. However, the quality of the meat is quite good and the pizza is not greasy. We also like that the toppings go right to the edge of the crust, especially because the crust end itself is plain - no sesame, garlic butter, melted cheese, etc. We would like to order again, but maybe with custom toppings because this is better quality than chain pizza, in my opinion, and for...
Read moreI do my best to support local businesses but I'm not ordering from here anymore. Five people in the kitchen and only one wearing a mask was the last straw for me. Technically they are following the rules but there is no way that the employees there are 2 meters apart at all times. I saw two working almost side by side. The plant I work at can get pretty hot and we wear masks for our 12 hour shifts. We also distance as much as possible. They should be doing the same.
I've been going to this place for over 10 years because they are local and use quality ingredients but their execution has been hit or miss over the last few years. For pizza that is this price I should not be rolling the dice on whether it's going to be good or not. I'm just done...
