Nuburger — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I'm honestly pleastly surprised with our experience here. First of all- it was le burger week the day we came. The burger at this specific location was some sorta burger on a croissant instead of a bun. It was absolutely delicious! One of the sauces on there tastes pretty dang close to a big Mac sauce... but with the quality of the rest of the burger, it just worked so well. We also had one of the bowls... don't remember what it was called; but it was greek adjacent. That was delicious as well. The fries we had were good. Maybe a little basic, but still good. We had "The Cookie", and it was great too. Besides the food- I was kind of blown away by the service. I was assuming this place would be just like any other fast food like place. Boy was I wrong. When we ordered our food, I didn't want to order a drink. However, the lady taking our order asked me if I wanted a cup for water. This has NEVER happened to me in a "fast food" style place before. Even after that- they brought our food to our table, asked if we needed anything else, and even came and took away our trays after we finished eating. Honestly felt like a sit down restaurant experience, but with the fast food perks. Sort of like fat burger- but better. We looked into this place some more. Found out they use local ingredients, and also originated here in winnipeg. Needless to say... I'm super impressed with this place. Wish I came here sooner!

(Atmosphere just gets 3 stars because it's a little basic... but it's a fast food style place. Only noteworthy thing is that this place is clean. Seems like they consistently clear and clean the tables when people finish...

I ordered online, so I can't really speak to the full service experience; however, the cashier was friendly and quick to grab my pickup order when I arrived. One thing I noticed was that they didn't provide or offer a receipt with the order and, in my experience, it's always been incl in the bag for pickup or delivery orders whether you want it or not. I just found that strange. The place was surprisingly nice inside. It seemed like a nice date spot or hangout with friends. I ordered the North Flag burger w a beef patty and, damn, it was really delicious. A bit messy as sauce spilled out of the side, but the bun held up fabulously, and IMHO, that's one of the most important parts of a good burger. It certainly rated ☆☆☆☆☆!! I also ordered the warm potato salad, and that's where my experience soured. There was virtually no dressing in the salad and no taste whatsoever. Chunks of celery and green onion scattered on top of what I assume are fried potatoes. They look like breakfast potatoes with the skins on. I was seriously disappointed, mostly bc I was looking forward to a potato salad. So, for now, it's in my fridge, and tmr I'll mix up my own dressing so I'm not choking down dry potatoes w celery and green onions. (Side note: It normally c/w bacon bits, but I have a pork sensitivity, so ordered it without) I will order fr Nuburger again, but it'll just...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nu Burger-Regent Location, and I am compelled to praise the exceptional service provided by the manager, Kevin. From the moment I walked in, Kevin made the experience truly memorable.

His friendly demeanour and warm welcome set a positive tone for the entire visit. It's clear that he is passionate about his work and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of his customers. He took the time to check on each table, ensuring everyone was happy with their meals and service.

What stood out the most was his charismatic personality. He effortlessly engaged with guests, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it was evident that his positive attitude had a wonderful impact on both the staff and the customers.

The quality of the food was excellent, but it was the outstanding service led by Kevin that made the experience truly exceptional. I highly recommend Nu Burger to anyone looking for great food and an even better dining experience. Kudos to Kevin for his exemplary leadership...
