My wife and I take our 2 grandkids out to a fast food restaurant each Friday. We have been to all the fast food restaurants in Woodstock Ontario and all been great except Burger King. We tried Burger King before and were dissatisfied with the slow and the disorganized service. But we let the grandkids pick the restaurant each week and they wanted to go to BK so we decided to give them another try. BIG MISTAKE! I placed our order using their mobile app for pickup/dine in at 4:40 pm. We arrived at the restaurant at 4:38 pm and our order # and name were posted on the display. It then moved to the Now Serving display, all good. Then the Now Serving display updated, our # wasn't there so we figured our food was ready and our # would be called. We waited approximately 10 minutes and during that time people behind us were being served. I went to the front counter and waited 5 minutes before I was asked if I could be helped. I asked about our order being 15 minutes late and why people with higher #s were being served before us. I was told they had an equipment problem and our order would be ready shortly. That doesn't explain why other people were getting their order and we weren't. Waited some more and my wife asked them again about our order and she said I just came on shift and she didn't know what was happening with our order. There were lots of people getting the wrong food in their order and complaining about the wait time while we were waiting for ours. Their standard answer was "I just came on shift". To make a long story short after a 35 minute wait from our scheduled pickup time we finally got our food. But wait there's more. When our trays were passed out there were no glasses for the 4 drinks we had ordered, so we had to ask for them. Also, had to ask for ketchup as their dispenser was empty. When we were passed our order we got no apologies for it being so late, she just said "at least your food is hot". Took order to table, opened bags and discovered we didn't have the 3 sauces we ordered. Back to the front counter for another wait, requested the sauce and then they had trouble finding it. Finally 45 minutes after our pickup time we finally got to eat. As you can imagine by that time our grandkids were upset and hungry as were we. Thanks Burger King for spoiling our weekly outing with our grandkids. All the other restaurants we went to were enjoyable experiences. You guys should learn how to run a restaurant from them. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant again after having 2 negative experiences and definitely do not...

Tried to Order take out via the drive thru for my kids and myself after hockey practice only to be hit with a wall of confusion, when trying to order a couple kids meals I was firmly told they don’t sell kids meals with zero explanation. Surprised I asked if the offered nuggets and small fries, the lady said yes just no kids meals… still surprised I asked again “so you offer kids nuggets and fries just no kids meals?” The lady promptly said yes again with zero explanation. I asked if they offered kids cheeseburgers and fries, again the lady said yes but no kids meals. Confused as they are clearly listed on the menu board I ask again “so you offer kids nuggets, fries and cheeseburgers but no kids meals??” This went on for about 5min of back and forth when the lady finally explained they don’t have toys… I said that’s fine can I have kids meals without toys and the lady said no and forced me to order everything seperetly, already frustrated at this point I agreed and continued with TRYING to place my order. Once I’ve ordered everything seperetly as requested the lady repeats my order only to miss half the order (10min at order speaker at this point, I should have known it was o ly going to get worse) after a few more tires she finally repeats the order correctly and asks me to pull forward.
I finally get my order only to find out half my order is missing including the side sauces for my churos and nuggets, one of the 2 “kids meals” I was forced to order seperetly. I then pull around and go into the store to ask about my order only to be greeted with the same one word answered and confusion to my order, I asked about the missing kids cheeseburger, the response I get “what cheesburger?”….. this pattern continued for the rest of the mission items at no point was there a sorry, there was ZERO customer service skills, there was ZERO empathy for wasting 20min with this foolish back and forth.
I remember waking to Burger King as a kid and always getting great service, great food and a great atmosphere . The only thing I walked out with is a great big headache, the quality of service at this location has plunged to below basic standards....
Read moreI went through the drive-thru this morning at 10:36am, and ordered a Whopper Jr. meal with no tomatoes, a whopper Jr burger(normal), and an angry breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with bacon and NO cheese. It was difficult to hear the lady over the speaker system, so this took a bit of confirming that everything was correct. I received my food and proceeded home. The whoppers were correct, but the angry breakfast sandwich was just a broken English muffin with bacon. I went back to the restaurant, spoke with the manager, who was helpful, and he had the lady at the till ring in my correct sandwich for no charge. I got my sandwich and headed home again. Unfortunately, the sandwich still had cheese. I thought, okay, fine, I'll just take the cheese off and eat it because I was hungry and didn't want to head across town again. As I was taking the cheese off, I noticed there was a sticker/paper in my sandwich. Fml. I definitely had to head back at that point 🙄 I got back to the restaurant for the 3rd time and spoke to the manager who remembered me and my order. He stated he remembered I wanted no cheese and said the lady must not have put that in the system when I asked for it. I said, "Well, it gets better." I opened the sandwich and showed him the sticker/paper. He was like, "Oh my god." I stated I just wanted my money back at that point and that this was completely unacceptable. He agreed and refunded my order.
Burger King, you need to hire some competent employees!!
To the manager of this store, thank you for rectifying the situation in a calm and fair manner.
