Sunset Grill — Restaurant in Woodstock

If I could rate Sunset Grill in Woodstock, ON less than 1 star, I would. I attended the Woodstock location this morning, and it was awful. Our server did not check on my boyfriend and I as most of the servers were huddled in a circle. A man who I assume was the manager was taking waitresses one by one for a few minutes and did not seem concerned that they had tables to wait on.

A couple who had just sat near us had ordered just a few minutes after us and received the wrong breakfast.. The gentleman seemed quite upset but stuck with eating what he was served with. Oh, did I mention it was my eggs Benedict he got? Yeah. There were 3 tables at that time, including mine, that that waitresses were accountable for.

Once we were finished eating and drinking our coffee from a disgusting mug (getting to that part), we waited. And waited. And waited. And WAITED for the waitress, someone. Anyone. To come give us our bill so we could leave.

The coffee cup? Ha. I hope you all put my boyfriend and I in your thoughts and rethink attending this establishment. Lipstick was on one of our mugs - and no, it was not mine. It was absolutely disgusting. I gave another waitress a heads up that we were not impressed, showed her the mug, etc.so they could be more cautious.

Yes, it's Covid, and we went for breakfast, but I'd be just as disgusted and disappointed with the uncleanliness and unprofessional aspects of this breakfast joint.

Unacceptable Service – Left Without Being Served

I recently visited Sunset Grill and was extremely disappointed with the service. Despite waiting for an extended period, my presence was completely ignored by the staff. Other patrons who arrived after me were promptly attended to, while I was left unattended.

After attempting to get the attention of the servers multiple times without success, I had no choice but to leave without placing an order. This experience was both frustrating and disheartening. I expect a basic level of courtesy and attention in any dining establishment, and unfortunately, Sunset Grill failed to meet even these minimal expectations.

I hope the management addresses these service issues to prevent future customers from experiencing similar neglect.RACIST

After that, my girlfriend and I went to stacked omelette place and were happy and...

This was the second time I've visited this location. The first time everything was great. This time no so much.

We were seated immediately, close to the "kitchen". The noise coming from the kitchen and kitchen staff made it impossible to have a conversation with my group without raising our voices.

The speed of service and food delivery was pretty good.

The taste of the food was very bland. There was little to no taste at all in the benedict sauce. The bacon in my meat lovers bowl was barely cooked.

My daughters potatoes were cold and her eggs benedict were bland as well.

It's unfortunate because this was the "meet in the middle" location for my daughter and I to have lunch together. Next time we will choose a different restaurant.
