Delícias do Mar — Restaurant in Sal

So me and my Wife are currently in Santa Maria, Sal, Cape Verde/Cabo Verde, Africa 🌍 on holiday from our home in Manchester, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

We stumbled across Delicas Do Mar by accident as we were walking down 15 Rui Agosto, We decided to head in for food and drinks 🍸, We were warmly greeted by a waitress who seated us at a table for two.

To drink I ordered a large local beer 🍺(Strella) and my Wife opted for a glass of red wine 🍷, Drinks came and were well presented and went down a treat on a very warm Cape Verde night.

To order my Wife ordered the Seafood pasta(Mussels, Clams, Prawns etc) and i ordered the Chicken Milanese(Breaded Chicken brest escalope) with a side order of fries.

Food came and was very well presented, Very well cooked, Generous portions and tasted absolutely delicious 😋, My Wife really, really enjoyed her Seafood pasta it was a huge portion and obviously the food was extremely fresh and the pasta my Wife said she had never eaten pasta that good anywhere in the World as it is all homemade fresh by the chef/Owner.

My Chicken Milanese was huge, very generous portion and tasted fresh, tasty and I absolutely cleaned my plate 🍽, I then ordered another round of drinks(Large local beer and a glass of red wine 🍷).

I opted for Dessert 🍨 and i opted for Tiramchoo(Tiramsu) which was the chef/Owners own spin of the Classic Tiramsu and wow by dar the best Tiramsu i had ever tasted in my life, Creamy yet sweet.

We then settled the bill(You can pay cash or card), Whole bill 2x Large Glasses of Red Wine, 2x Large local beers(Strella), A huge plate of Seafood pasta, 2x large Chicken Milanese with a side order of fries and 1x portion of Tiramsu came to only €46, We then gave the waitress a tip and we headed for a drink at Porto Antigo,

We were there for dinner and then lunch the day after. Fantastic fish, both white and red for dinner. Very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive waiter. They have an excellent lunch offer 12:00-15:00 with a choice between fish, meat or pasta for 7 - 8 € The whole a'la carte menu is also available for the regular price. We found it and immediately fell in love !!! Located at the end of the main street it is a very little place .the staff of guys all very kind !! The food is great all fresh and good fish at a really honest price! We spent 20 each consuming two appetisers, two fish mixes that I recommend, a drink and coffee! A discovery! We will be back!...
