A review of my favorite burger spot that is way overdue.
I have been a patron of Seven Mile Burger since 2021 and I have had nothing but great food and service each and everytime, even when using food delivery services.
I love all of the burger choices, but the staple classic is as close to perfection as it gets. Ordered medium with good ol' American cheese and fresh veggies with their signature NSA sauce, it is truly a cheeseburger in paradise.
My wife and I are once a week beach bums so I call in orders, walk from Seven Mile Beach and the food is usually ready by the time I shake off the sand after an easy walk.
As you can see, its a great beach burger served in a paper based clamshell. If you're curious, the beer is the very good locally brewed Island Hopper IPA. The Left Hand koozie is an old friend.
I have also had the spicy chicken sandwich, hot wings, and another favorite, Frying Nemo, which has chunks of fried mahi, jumbo fried shrimp, and fried poblano peppers on a bed of delicious chips (fries for the Americans).
Which brings me to the chips (fries), onion rings, poutine, sweet potato fries and truffle fries. They are good. Really good. You can't go wrong with any of them and you can order jumble fries and onion rings to sample them all.
The signature NSA sauce is fantastic, whether served on burgers or sandwiches or used to dip all of the other good eats in.
If you dine in or want to add more sauce to tskeout orders, there is a wall of other sauces that is free to use, and yes, my UK friends, they do have HP sauce. :-)
Lastly, the quality and quantity of the food is one of the rare great values on the island.
Seven Mile Burger is truly THE Cheeseburger...
Read moreLooking for a delicious burger? How about some tasty fries? Want a crazy large collection of dipping sauces? All of these are close to 7 mile beach at Seven Mile Burger. The restaurant is small but clean and new and has a small outdoor patio seating section, too. The staff was really friendly and helpful and even recommended a couple of burger options when I told them it was my first time visiting. I landed on the mushroom and Swiss burger with sautéed onions, and I added an order of French fries. The burger came out great. It was a generous size, cooked really well, and had amazing flavors from the cheese, mushrooms, and onions. Being a mustard lover, I saw they had jalapeño mustard as an option, and I added it to the burger. I ate it so fast that the other patrons probably thought I hadn't eaten in a year. The fries were delicious, too. Crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside, like fries are supposed to be. I actually added wing sauce to the fries, and it took them to the next level. I know my new favorite burger place. Seven...
Read moreThis little place was so busy on a Wednesday early evening. We found a table for 4 easily though. They have a wide variety of hamburgers available. The "rich and famous" smashburger was so delicious. They also have a kids menu that includes a nice sized burger. The drinks consist of cans or bottles and includes sodas, fruit juice, water, beer and wine. We got a basket of jumble fries (french fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. It was a large enough for 3 of us. The prices here are very reasonable. Seemed like there were mostly locals eating here. I would definitely eat here again. It was one of the best burgers I...
