D’s Pizza — Restaurant in West Bay

Dont make me food shame you. If youre looking for a great place to eat, let alone eat great pizza, shut up already and get here. This "ish" is delicious. You can choose from their custom pizzas or make your own, either way goodness awaits. This is thick crust, Detroit Style pizza, and it is all that. Its outdoor dining only (or to go), but D's provides the shade, as you sit at the table of your choice. Dont look for a fancy building, nope. Food truck, more correctly, food trailer, but dont despair, magic is happening here. Ingredients? Top notch. Crunch from the first bite? Pre-orgasmic. Culinary vision when comes to pizza topping design? Outrageous. Everything is made to order, so sit down, shut up and anticipate all tastiness about to be in your mouth, because its coming. Took my wife here during our vacation. Unless you looked at the pictures you wouldn't know it is a food trailer, so if you want to sit in the heat your in the right place; otherwise be prepared to take it back to your room. The cashier was cordial and prices seemed reasonable, at least until you find out they only come in one size, which was equivolent to an ipad. Don't let the stacked boxes mislead you, because it slides around freely in the box. After ordering the toppings, we ended up paying 50% more, or the cost of another basic pizza. The final total was $45 USD for two. They didn't take credit cards, so we had to pay in cash. The guy at the window explained they were being audited, which begs the question, why change your accepted payment method, unless you have something to hide? Asking for extra cheese cost $5 and it didn't even look as if it had the original cheese to begin with. Overall the pizza was good and thick, but it would have been better just to get...

While on our latest vacation with the family, we stopped by D’a Pizza, and let me tell you—they literally have the best pizza on the entire island. Don’t just take my word for it. If you’re in the area, check them out and come back here to give this review a thumbs up because you know I wasn’t lying. 😂
