Izakaya Yoko — Restaurant in Puerto Varas

I'd heard whispers of a ramen haven in Puerto Varas, and let me tell you, eating there was a real treat.

Finding exceptional vegetarian ramen outside of Japan is a rare feat – often, the broth is bland and lacks substance. But this place, helmed by a Japanese chef, completely defied expectations.

Their vegetarian Moyashi Ramen was amazing. The rich, oily broth, reminiscent of the non-vegetarian variety, felt smooth to the palate. The handmade noodles were chewy perfection, and the soup was bursting with flavor.

Beyond the ramen, we were thrilled to discover vegetarian agedashi tofu, a delightful surprise. The vegan 33-piece sushi set was devoured in record time, and the tofu yakisoba was a generous and flavorful dish with a homemade sauce that reminded me of Bulldog sauce.

Without a doubt, this restaurant was the highlight of our Puerto Varas trip. If you ever find yourself in this town, definitely pay them a visit. You will not be...

Never again. The girl that works there is soooooo rude I never experienced that bad service in entire Chile. Honestly it feels almost sad to write the review, both guys that work there are very nice and the food is amazing. But the girl is next level rude she would insult the clients in fromt of them as she did to us and make jokes. Only because we asked for one more drink. Clearly she just works there and destroys the entire experience. Its sad to see the people that invested so much love in the restaurant and how one bad employee can ruin it all. We almost left the restraurant with my wife because she was just so rude that we did not want...

We were craving some sushi, and as a matter of luck, walked by this whole in the wall heaven. Prices seemed affordable so we sat down and gave the menu a look. Instantly knew that this place was going to be our lunch. Rolls were great prices, and there was a good selection of other entrees. For two of us, the udon noodles and 2 rolls were more than enough food. Its a tiny shop so not a lot of seating, 1 server meaning service can be a little slow, and the sushi was freshly made so the flavor was outstanding. This spot may not be as well know as some of the bigger sushi spots, but the environment made it to the top...
