Inca's Restaurant — Restaurant in San Pedro de Atacama

This is the best Peruvian food we’ve had outside of Peru! My husband is from Lima, and we had a Peruvian food truck in Miami, so we can be particular when it comes to Peruvian food. This place checks every box and makes everything perfectly. We’ve come literally three days in a row because the food is that amazing!

We’ve had the Lomo Saltado over Risotto a la Huancaína, Ají de Gallina, Causa Limeña de Pollo, Tallarines Verdes, Vegetarian Arroz Chaufa, Suspiro Limeño and their homemade Chicha Morada, along with Pisco Sours and Maracuyá Sours. Every single thing has been absolute perfection. My daughter asked if they were hiding her grandmother in the back lol.

I can’t wait to come back to San Pedro de Atacama in the future, and when we do, we’ll be back...

I had Camarones al Pil Pil. Usually one of the best dishes found in Chile and Peru. It's supposed to be made with butter and garlic and is usually spicy. Here it is made with liters of wine and just tastes acidic and not good at all. The staff confused our order and tried to blame me for it instead of apologizing. We came here for their lunch menu for 10,000clp which included an appetizer and entree. We had the ceviche and potato starter, and the pork and chicken entree. All was pretty good. The chicken entree was a bit lighter and had better flavoring than the pork but the pork was still good. Serving sizes are quite large so depending on your appetite you could split the meal.
