At first I rated this place 5 stars when I first went 2 weeks ago. But just went back last night and didn't have a good experience, so dropping the rating down. The first time I ate here it was really good. This time I ordered the same dishes and they weren't as great. Not as much flavor, and not cooked long enough (the curry was a thin soup instead of being boiled down to an actual thick curry). And seriously they've had 2 weeks to print an actual menu, from when they saw their online menu wasn't pulling up two weeks ago. Went back last night and the online menu still wasn't working. So frustrating when you can't even see a menu to offer. Lastly, they had a few staff members sitting at a table across the dining room, blasting music and videos on their phone. Even the table behind me kept glancing across the room where all this annoying noise was coming from. So disruptive when employees have their phones at full blast and don't respect their...
Read moreHave eaten at a lot of thai places and can say this place had good food for sure. We had vegetarian spring rolls - there were 8 of them served with sweet sauce. Also had chicken satay which came with peanut sauce. Both the dishes were good, chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Both sauces were also very tasty. Tried their ginger lemonade - had pieces of ginger in it. Was flavorful. Had tres Lethe for dessert, was a big cake slice and the portion size was easily shareable. They have some outdoor seating. The first level just has the reception and the main seating is on 2nd floor. Decorations were typical thai with elephants and Buddha statues. Service was prompt. Even though the servers could not communicate in English, they used translate on their phone and we didn’t have a problem at all. Place to go if one wants...
Read moreHad a craving for Thai food and found good reviews of this place. The restaurant is located in a neighborhood that you wouldn't expect. The staff greeted us well and the attention was good.
I ordered the chicken fried rice and the spring rolls for the appetizer. They were both very good and the seasoning was great. The spicy level I got was 3 and that was perfect since I love spicy food. To drink I ordered the fresh cumber lemonade.
Only problem was, they don't have basil in any of the dishes when I asked the lady. What's that about? Basil is a staple of Thai cuisine and not having it doesn't make sense. It's like a Mexican restaurant not having avocado. Put basil in your dishes to give it an excellent taste and you'll get the 5...
