Laoma means old mom. So is old mama's cooking :) Hog hoof or pig feet, you will have to love it to enjoy it. Because it doesn't have much meat, but more collagen. Laoma's favorite is plain stewed hoof which you can enjoy the soup while dipping the meat in spicy source. The hoof became so tender that it literally melts in you mouse. My kids enjoyed quit a few piece as. There are also other flavors for the hoof from mild to spicy. One thing to watch out for if you are a traveler is that there are three Laoma restaurants right next to each other, of course all want to share a piece of the success. This was the restaurant our driver recommended upon our request of dining out in a locally favourite instead of centre of tourist attraction.
This meal proved to be the best we have had in Chengdu ever! The interior was not of the high-end for sure, but we were here for food, and that was this place good at.

Read more去成都必吃菜品——蹄花 本来做了很多的功课,选了几家比较小众也是微博推荐比较火的蹄花,但是由于行程安排等原因,一直没有办法去成。可是蹄花觉得是必须吃的,幸好 所住的酒店旁边有一家老字号 老妈蹄花 于是带着爸妈就过来了 饭店分为楼上楼下两层 生意火爆 我们四个人 由于还带了买的拌菜,所以点了一份小蹄花汤 一份香辣提花 一份炒肝尖 然后吃的好撑啊!!哈哈哈
#老妈蹄花# 虽然说是小份 但是真的一点都不小,配上黄豆炖的,汤都是奶白色的,非常浓厚,每个人一小碗就足够啦#香辣蹄花# 我个人喜欢吃香辣蹄花 因为比较不腻 而且经过干锅爆炒后 蹄子更加劲道,而且一点都不辣 真的是只香不辣 #炒肝尖# 妈妈爱吃猪肝 所以特地点的这道菜,妈妈说非常好吃,这是用豆瓣酱打底炒的猪肝,又嫩又香。
特别说的是 米饭 米饭就是一小桶 不要钱。。。自己随便拿 我都惊呆了好么!!!
