Yuexiangcun Beef Restaurant — Restaurant in Chengdu

Came here with high expectations to try after we read online that this was one of the popular old Muslim restaurant in the area. I was the only one in my group of 10 who is of Chinese descent and able to read/speak mandarin.

Unfamiliar with the name of the dishes, ingredients or portion, we asked the waitress to recommend from the menu. A waitress showed up with an impatient face and asked to search through their local Chinese apps for dishes reviews ourselves then left abruptly. Tired and hungry from travelling a whole day, we proceeded to select what we could understand before asking for a staff again. The same lady showed up, answered a couple questions and before even writing down a single order, she then passed her stack of blank notepaper to me and asked me to write down the orders myself in a rude tone! She then left to do her other chores while chatting away in their local dialect which I could not understand. Fortunately a kinder lady showed up later and went through our orders properly after that.
