Another round of Cantonese cuisine, this time at a highly acclaimed, award-winning restaurant near my daughter’s office. We decided to try several of their signature dishes, and the meal did not disappoint.
We each indulged in half a portion of fried pigeon, and the juicy meat paired with the crispy skin was absolutely amazing. The roast goose was equally delicious, perfectly cooked with rich flavors. The highlight of the day, however, was the steamed yellow croaker fish. This simple yet flavorful dish has become a favorite of mine during my visits to China—it’s always a delight.
The fried kailan with pork lard and garlic was another simple yet satisfying dish, showcasing the beauty of fresh ingredients. Of course, no Cantonese meal is complete without double-boiled soup. My family absolutely loved it—nourishing, soothing, and the perfect way to unwind from a hectic day.

停车位足,是此店虽收费不菲,却能吸引高端客人前来光顾的一个原因。而环境、服务方面,也不会令光顾之人觉得失望。餐厅虽小,却吸音力强,因此整体环境给人的整个用餐体验就是不会太吵杂。除此之外,也闻不到有传统中餐厅那股独有的“茶楼味”,空气保洁做得相当到位。
服务,是那种只要你一左右张望,都不用扬手就已经有人来到跟前的优质服务,“请”、“先生\小姐”、微笑、有礼、点单时提醒顾客”够了“、点单后重念一遍、上菜时报上菜名、菜上齐后告知顾客”上齐了“等服务标准及礼仪,全都做到足了,这种消费体验,是在很多中餐馆都不能获得的,令人还没举筷就已经满心欣喜了。
本次所点的菜品虽少,却已能看出其厨师团队手艺不凡了——黑木耳脆瓜炒北极贝,碟底无汁无油渗出,符合高档粤菜小炒的出品要求;整体味道均衡,证明原料非每样分开处理,各自调味;而最令个人欣赏的是,此款小炒虽没有镬气,但却采用了另一种方法来代替镬气——加入了海味碎齐炒。这种做法能为菜品带来香气、鲜味之余,还比镬气更加健康,个人把这种海味碎称之为”干的XO酱“,十分值得尝试。
黑蒜炒法国鹅肝粒,鹅肝肥腻人所共知,但加入了黑蒜粒同炒就能降低鹅肝的肥腻感,因此,这个搭配设计得相当独到,好评。
虾籽猪油捞粗,面体弹牙,无枧水味,落碟鼓起,毫不下塌,猪油香突出,咸淡适中,非但高端食肆应有的出品质量都已达到,且还加入了虾米碎来増香,相信这个厨师团队不但手艺高强,而且对”吃“甚有研究,此次,真是没来错地方。
