So lucky to have made a reservation for lunch just 4 days away, knowing that dinner reservation will have to be made at least 3 months ahead! We pre-ordered the whole Smoked chicken with tea leaves while making reservation, it was absolutely succulent, tender and unique in flavour, the chicken is not very big so big eater should order whole for 4 persons. Another highlight of the meal was Crab with rice-roll (肠粉)pot, the slightly burnt flavour blended with generous ginger spring onion and chilli was simple irresistible. Prawn toasties were delightful and filled with super generous prawn meat! We didn’t order the chives with cuttlefish regrettably, instead we ordered stir fried giant grouper (龍躉) with onions. It was fresh, flavourful and generous in portion. The only disappointment was the old school sweet and sour pork, they were neither sweet enough nor sour enough in taste. Complimentary dessert pumpkin sago soup was smooth and lightly sweetened, a perfect way to finish off the meal.
