Tai Hing — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Tai Hing has branches all over Hong Kong and is a good bet for affordable Hong Kong roast meats. This location can get pretty crowded so do expect to wait during peak hours. The atmosphere is like a cha can ting so don’t really expect much for service. However, the food is on point and the price is inexpensive.

The goose leg here is surprisingly good. You get a nice crisp skin and smoked flavor from the meat. Not sure if it’s always like this but the taste of the goose is pretty close in quality to some of the more famous places in town like Kam or yat luck. Definitely will come back here again for...

They never read the order properly, giving u wrong last time. Having spoken to them, placing the order again. They gave the correct stuffs, but some other mistakes again. They put plenty of sauce in the rice, the order vouchers did mention no sauces, no veggies. Summer time, i never wanted any garnishing vegetables, it spoiled mostly....

I found that the Chinese BBQ pork is not as good as before. I have tasted it before, it was so juicy, smooth and colourful. But I ordered it twice last ten days, the pork was too thin and dry, the quality seemed to be going down. However, generally the food were still okay. At least better than most of the HK local...
