3.5 stars Our friends introduced this restaurant to us. They made a reservation 2 days before. Venue: A few minutes walk from Tram stops or Sai Wan Ho MTR station. Traditional Chinese restaurant setting. Not packed. Comfy seating. --- 7.3/10 Service: The manager read through the set menu for us to confirm all dishes. Each dish was served in sequence at the right time. Polite staff. The manager was always smiling. --- 7.7/10 Food: Normal presentation with garnish sometimes. Good portion. Winter melon soup: was nice, but not a whole winter melon. A waitress divided the soup for 9 of us. But some bowls (particular first 4 bowls) had more filling like prawns, lotus seed, mushrooms, etc. I got small pieces of winter melon, 1 Lotus seed, and pork in my bowl only. --- 7/10 Roast Goose, half: served with plum sauce. the Goose wasn't fatty. --- 6/10 Lobster with E-fu Noodles: not bad. The 2 lobsters were cooked well --- 7.6/10 Sweet & Sour Pork: fair. --- 6/10 Stir-fried Lotus root with Liliy bulbs, black fugus, and celery: ok but small portion --- 7.3/10 Steamed Spotted Cod: Steamed the fish very well. As our request, soy sauce was served separately. --- 9/20 Osmanthus & Goji Jelly: good. Not too sweet. A lot of goji...
