An interesting specialist attraction near Sai Wan Ho is the Hong Kong Film Archive, which is managed by the HK Leisure and Culture Services department and is tasked with collecting and conserving Hong Kong films, related artefacts and materials.
Here you can visit a free exhibition hall, featuring exhibitions rotate throughout the year. The present showing - 'Remembrance of the Avant-garde', showcases 20th century motion cameras, equipment and other film making memorabilia. You can also watch a short documentary describing the making of battle scene in old days. This film clip is in Chinese (with English subtitles).
