A traditional Hong Kong style diner; not a fake retro one but it has been around before I was born. They used to have another 冰室 at 上環文咸東街22–26號柏廷坊高層地下 managed by the owner's young couple but it was short lived. (I was sad to see the closure of Pak Lee Bin Sut in Sheung Wan because it was close to where I used to live.) I have known the original one on Shau Kei Wan Road for ages; it was a special cafe I first visited more than 25 years ago. Their 炸蛋球 is a bit like a donut and they also bake sponge cakes and walnut cookies. It's a good place to have a quick Hong Kong style breakfast, baked pork chop 意粉 for lunch or 蝦多士 for snack. If you want to try a different option for a hot drink try 鴛鴦茶; half milk tea and half coffee.
