地茂館燒味粥麵餐廳 — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Haven’t been to Kowloon City for ages. Just wanted to grab a quick bite but didn’t know what exactly we want eat… Saw this relatively spacious local restaurant and attracted by the food variety. We had congee, 炸醬撈麵and 水餃. All tasted really good especially the 炸醬撈麵 as it’s a little bit spicy to our liking🌶️. Also want to mention that the staff were very hospitable and attentive. They used to be famous for their BBQ meat and we have been regular customers. Recently they have a new batch of waiters and waitresses. Service is ok. We ordered a roasted goose leg, Singaporean fried rice noodles and Hainanese chicken. All are not very up to standards especially the goose leg which was extremely disappointing. Classic local diner food. Classic local rude servers. We really like the chicken congee, salt & pepper tofu, and hongshao tofu. Have had the green beans too but they weren't very good. Prices are maybe a bit higher than you'd expect, but not exorbitant.

During covid post-6 pm takeout they've been incredibly fast and systematic.
