Our partner and I have never been met with so much hospitality and warmth our my lives of going to restaurants. The three staff were so sweet and happy to serve us. They greeted us with such warmth, set our table properly, and even advised us on how to eat the food to the best. (Koreans dip the chicken into the tteok-bokki sauce.) The serving staff lady made sure to give us enough table space and left a tissue box for us when we started eating.
The restaurant has a TV playing the latest Korean news. (Off topic, but we heard of BTS Jin being discharged out of military when we were eating and of the HYBE drama.) The restaurant has a pretty blue and pink lighting. We truly felt like we were in a local restaurant in South Korea.
The food was amazingly delicious. The chicken, especially the lemon chicken hit the spot for us and was our number one pick. The tteok-bokki with noodles, which we ordered in less spice or 小辣, was flavourful and chewy and was our second pick. The cheese and potato pancakes were crusty, savory, yet creamy with the the layer of cheese. Aside from that we also had the sweet and spicy chicken, which did not disappoint. Overall, an amazing dinner meal for us with wonderful staff.
This restaurant needs more attention. It may be at an inconvenient location, but it’s authentic Korean food at its best. We’re definitely coming back for some...
Read moreSmall place. Unsure whether they are Koreans or not because they speak Cantonese just like us. Food is definitely Korean. Very good service, patient and sincere. Good price, paid $405 for a family dinner of 3 person. Only 2 ladies working in the shop, polite introducing and explaining the menu and food items, not imposing but just spots on. The atmosphere was 4/5 is nothing to complain, it’s a great place, clean, decent Korean vibe, and not those big establishment where you get beautiful tables and chairs. Will be there again whenever we are in the vicinity and craving for Korean food. 감사합니다...
Read moreStaying nearby and wanted Korean food - found this place on Google. It was very quiet - I was the only diner for most of the night - one other person came in later. Service was friendly and food arrived quickly. Had the cheese tteokbokki and sweet spicy fried chicken. Tteokbokki was good, nice flavour and good spice (I asked for it a little bit less spicy). Chicken was also good but I would like to try the other flavour and the kimchi pancake next time. I would come back again. It’s not as good as in Korea but a good option if you fancy some Korean food with a background atmosphere or...
