A very typical Hong Kong cha chaan teng breakfast. This restaurant breakfast set is selling at a very reasonable price with huge portion which can definitely fill up any empty stomach.
To be honest, the food quality was just normal. The fried chicken wings were a little bit overcooked, contributing to the lack of juice inside, especially problematic to small size chicken wings used. The macaroni was a typical cha chaan teng style, cooked thoroughly before the customer order, resulted in a non-Aldente texture.
Surprisingly, the fried egg was still raw inside, allowing me to enjoy the egg yolk by drinking it.
The toast was normal again, but it will be better to serve with butter instead of margarine.
The hot lemon tea served with the set was normal. The tea base wasn’t too bitter while the lemon was quite fresh.
To conclude, nothing you can expect for a $40 breakfast, but you can always find a better local restaurant with higher cp value...
