Hon Wo Korean Restaurant (Sha Tin) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Located on the 2nd floor in Kings Wing Plaza 1 mall, we agreed to have lunch. They offer two lunch choices, a full buffet or a la carte at a section in the rear of the restaurant. We opted to order from the menu. The waiter who took our order is extremely polite and handed us a English menu. We ordered Beef Bibimbap and Tteokbakki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes) served with soup, pickles and a drink (added charge) Both dishes are served hot and plentyful. Overall OK experience and because one has to take into account when the restaurant is full one will have difficulties to have a decent table conversation with the partner to eat with. Final verdict, good for a quick bite but...

Today I've been there for lunch with my colleagues. I decided to having the lunch set - Kimchi soup with rice (HKD50). I've waited for 10 mins and finally the food came. "Woooo, it looks good", I thought. However, the Kimchi soup was awful after I sipped the first sip. The main cause is that the pork has spoiled. :( Anyway, I won't try any lunch set there. I would give a try for BBQ...

Been long time we haven't been here since the pandemic...now it's really back to normal...still this restaurant amazes us on how people liked the place as we do..it's so spacious,packed w people as usual and affordable and all their foods we loved it ...happy to cook BBQ on the spot and taste many variety of foods ,seafoods ,fruits, veggies,soup, desserts,drinks ,grilled and sushi...
