When I lived in Japan 16 years ago, this was my favourite chain restaurant. I was very excited to discover in 2010 that they had opened in Hong Kong! The reason I loved Saizeriya in Japan, and continue to love it today in Hong Kong, is that it is tasty, CHEAP, consistant Italian INSPIRED food. It's not fine dining, and it's not meant to be. Saizeriya is known for lightning fast service, and as long as you can get a seat (it's busy during peak hours), you call your server to your table with button on the table. You order from a large picture menu, and in no time at all you have your food. The portions are sized such that you are meant to order multiple items and share.
