Oolaa TKO — Restaurant in Hong Kong

I used to be an oolaa fan and go very often in the one located above PMQ when I lived in hk island. And since I moved to Sai kung and saw one open in Tko, I was very happy. However my last experience last week was very disappointed. I went for lunch with a friend on a Wed around 12pm last week, the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. I ordered an oat latte and a lamb burger as part of the lunch set. The oat latte came but the presentation was failed and they didn’t bother to make a new one to be served. But ok, I didn’t complain and drink it anyway. Then came my lamb burger with rocket salad, beetroot and sweetness potato fries. The plate look super nice but when I tried the burger, the meat tasted super weird, like if the meat is not good to eat anymore. I decided not to eat it cause don’t want to take any risk on food poisoning. When the waiter came to take our plates away, he saw that I didn’t touch my main. I said the meat tasted weird and I didn’t want to be sick. He just replied he will mentioned it to the chef… and that’s it! No follow up, no offer to make a new one or to at least remove it from the bill. I didn’t say anything but had a very bad lunch and experience. I think oola concept is great and the ambiance nice, but the food consistency and the service is dropping in quality, and it’s a shame, cause my kids and I used to love going for...

I recently dined at Oolaa TKO and was blown away by the creativity and culinary mastery of the chefs. From the moment I walked in the door, I was struck by the inviting atmosphere and attentive service. The appetisers were a great start to the meal, with unique flavour combinations that left me wanting more. The main course was even better, with each bite bursting with flavour and expertly cooked to my desired level of doneness.

Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better meal. The creativity of the chefs really shone through in every dish, and the attention to detail was second to none. Joel is such an amazing representative for the F & B sector. Awareness of allergies was very obvious. He made us feel very safe and welcomed us warmly. He recommended some dishes and they were so good; chicken skewers, chicken quesadillas, pomegranate salad, the herb-roasted chicken, and the molten lava cake. We were very happy with our meal. He really took his time to triple check everything for my son's meal, as my son is severely allergic to eggs and nuts. I will be definitely recommending this location to my friends because it is a relaxed environment, easy to get reservations, the outdoor seating is also quite pleasant.
