Such a disgrace!! I actually dined in today and I am extremely disappointed with my recent dining experience. Not only was the service unacceptable, but I was also shocked to find out that dogs are not allowed on the premises. What is even more frustrating is that I was not made aware of this policy when making my reservation. Even bringing a small dog in a little dog bag is not allowed! As you may not know, my dog is a small dog and it does not bark, I usually bring a small bag and leash in case of any situations like this. Putting a small dog that does not bark into a bag, then hiding it under the table is not even allowed! Because of this, it resorted in us having to take turns walking the dog outside, disrupting our dining experience! I think this is because of its risk of disturbing other customers, but the problem was that the dog was inside the bag and not out (as said, it does not bark and very obedient). It is unacceptable that your establishment would not communicate such an important policy with your customers! 😡 To make matters worse, the service I received during my visit was intolerable. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, and it took an unreasonably long time for my order to be taken and served. This made for an overall unpleasant dining experience. I hope that you can understand my frustration and take steps to improve your communication with customers regarding your policies, and not make customers waste time on writing a complaint to make your service greater. Also, sanitation seems to be a problem, we saw a worker reaching into his clothing to scratch his armpit. 🤢 Additionally, I urge you to improve the quality of service at your establishment to ensure that all customers have an enjoyable dining experience. Read moreI used to live next to Paradise Dynasty in Singapore, and now I’m close by to TKO branch here in HK. What are the odds?
I’ve always loved La Mian, the creamy pork bone broth is just fantastic. Although I add a bit chilli sauce to it to suit my taste. Dish was great in SG and it’s great here as well. Xiao long bao (original) are nice, rest of them I wouldn’t touch again. Not specific issue for this branch but seriously, cheese XLB? Eww.
What is very different between SG branch I used to go and here in TKO is the service. And TKO wins hands down. Every time I have visited service has been very personal, they really manage to make you feel welcome, even i’ve just been staring some youtube shorts from my phone like a zombie.
Atmosphere is good. Interior a bit boring, but thats the theme of the chain. In the end it’s the taste and service which are meaningful, and if you didn’t read anything I wrote above, let’s just say I approve.
And don’t get me wrong, this is also great value - big bowl of La Mian for...
Read moreThe overall service was decent, and there were plenty of servers available. Upon being seated, I was promptly served tea and a small plate of peanut snacks. I appreciated the quick attention. I placed my order using a QR code, which was convenient.
However, I was surprised to find that the snacks they placed on the table were later added to my bill, even though I hadn't requested them. When I inquired about this while paying, I asked if it was possible to decline the snacks next time. The server confirmed that I could, but when I asked why this wasn't mentioned at the start, he just laughed it off.
While the food itself was good, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable. It would have been more transparent if they had informed me about the additional charge for the snacks beforehand. Clarity in service goes a long way in building trust with customers.
Let me know if you'd like any adjustments to the...
