The Hokki Don 北海丼 and Ama-Edi Don 醬油漬甘海老丼 were our top favs. The former is like a 6-sashimi feast in a bowl🍱, the tender texture of the scallop and sea urchin pairs well with the sweetness of Botan shrimp🦐 and crab meat🦀, I’d prefer a bolder sake to drink with; The latter is big platter of sweet shrimps, the texture is wonderfully firm and substantial, I’d prefer a lighter sake to drink with. I ordered the tuna rice bowl, and the tuna was quite fresh. The fish soup was also quite tasty. However, the seating was not very comfortable. The staff mentioned that this place used to be a standing sushi bar, but since Hong Kong people are not used to eating sushi while standing, they converted the standing spots into seating. Taste wise it’s good but same as sushi Tachi level not as good as those Omakase but price is too much over priced and sushi does not come with 2pcs even though photo shows 2 pcs in the ordering app, it’s really confusing as well.
