really bad experience, I have one 14 and one 11 years old boy, so I bought one adult and one child ticket for 2 hours game at 570 HK dollars. upon arrival and because we were being honest, they said the kids must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years old or above, I asked could I sit on the chair and watch my kids from playing, they said no and must buy another 350 dollars ticket, I said I had knee injury and could not play, they said policy is policy nothing they could do, they said could allow my older boy to go in and play and younger boy to send home. very insensitive replies. I refused to pay another over priced ticket for something I am not going to use and asked refund, they said must contact klook but klook said on website strictly no refund as a sales condition. the kids must go with adult is also in the condition but under small print which I did not know in advance, I asked refund as a condition the venue refused us to get in. after 90 minutes of arguing on the site in a calm and none swearing manner from me we left very disappointed, the refund is still under processing with klook said need to investigate. what a total nightmare and poor customer service. all I asked was a small chair and be responsible to look at my kids while they are playing, it has been refused and they went on said could not look at me with another staff standing by all the time to make sure I am not playing!! what a joke!? very over priced venue please don't go. public park is much better choices for the kids to play and enjoy fresh air. Kaitac has a good park with climbing stairs and sands to play right outside this venue.
Further response to the owner's post, I have checked the Klook condition after the debate broken out, please see below attached photo. It said the kids must accompany by an adult that is 18 or above, however it did not clearly outline the accompany condition is to purchase another full price of ticket. I clearly mentioned I could accompany my kids inside or outside the venue, standing or sitting down. If there is any injury case to my kids, I could take action and respond right away. Also I have 100% confidence Joypolis should design the place as a safe and responsible environment, also with staff on duty to give out warning signals.
I have donated the extra payment to HK Community Chest. Overall I could not agree on Joypolis explanation and arrangement for 2 hours of playtime from kids at a kids facilities, we need to pay HKD1000, one adult being forced to buy ticket he does not need with knee injury, one 14 years old and one 11 years old kids given I proposed to stand there all the time waiting for my kids to finish their 2...

Do not bring your children here. There are many better places to spend your money.
They force you to buy tickets based on time slots, even if you come in the middle, there are no pro rata rates so you are eating whatever the difference is. Fine, that’s a common policy. It is $700 hkd for 1 adult and 1 kid for an hour basically. I already know the management is going to try to correct me, but this is what happened to me. Because like I said I was late. And the reason I was late was because the place is impossible to find with google maps. But fine, I accepted it.
The facility is dirty and the staff is there as authority rather than customer service. Fine, it is Hong Kong after all, that much is normal enough. Even tho we are spending as much as a theme park ticket.
But the place I draw the line is the nickel and dime tactics. You want to bring your kid to the ninja park because they are young? They need grip socks. Fine, we prepared for that. But guess what, YOU, the adult need to also have grip socks. And the kid isn’t allowed to play without you. And they sell you a pair of socks for another outrageous fee.
That’s where I was like, this place is 100% a scam.
The staff are completely inflexible. In my opinion, let’s say you collapsed and were on the verge of dying. I doubt they would even call an ambulance for you if it wasn’t in the policy.
Avoid this place at all costs. It is not child safe. It is not family friendly.
Come here only if you are a fool with your money and want to be scammed nonstop. This is like the onlyfans version of a kids playground.
You will regret it and feel empty inside. Your kids will grow up to not respect...
Read moreWe celebrated my child's 8th birthday here, and it was honestly one of the best birthday parties we've had!
After looking around at many party rooms that didn’t quite fit, we found Joypolis at Kai Tak, which turned out to be perfect. The venue has 4 floors — 3 of them are full of games, and both kids and adults had so much fun! There’s more than enough to keep everyone entertained for a full 2 hours of playtime.
What really stood out was the two dedicated party hosts who guided the kids through the games. They were both super nice and attentive to every little detail !!! A huge help throughout the party!
The games were fun and exciting, and even during busy times, we only had to wait behind one or two groups. Some of the group games were surprisingly thrilling !!!even adults were lining up to join in!
After all the fun, we went up to the 4th-floor restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the great portions and tasty food so fresh, hot, and way more than enough! The restaurant staff were also very kind and helpful. We had a private 90-minute session there for food, cake, and celebration time.
It was such a joyful day , my child said this was the happiest birthday party ever! 🎉
Highly recommended for anyone planning a fun and...
